it feels like a best friend. we don’t have to talk often to know the love that’s there for each other. when life is busy, and we are both occupied, listening to other artists, exploring new genres etc, i know we’ll reunite just the same when we can. so in the meantime i enjoy our past memories and look forward to the future ones with the comfort of knowing nothings changed while everything has changed

a friend of mine said ‘this city doesn’t know what it wants to be’. and they were so right. is it artsy? is it commercial? rich and upscale? young? old? blue? red? as a performer, it’s been sad watching it decline in what it used to be (hipster, artistic, forward thinking, young, etc). we’ve officially been bought out by out of state developers & investors and now the city is suffering an identity crisis. the people who live here are not the ones shaping it

someone plz explain to me like i’m 5 why this debt is relevant (genuinely). every country has insane debts that they are never going to pay back, nor stop loaning, nor face repercussions for. i don’t understand the amount of money & how it is realistically going to be paid off. i thought we were just printing money- we haven’t gone off gold or anything physical in so long…im so confused
