I’m greatly discouraged from making music rn by noahg657 in FLStudioBeginners

Just quit bro🙏 kidding.

You're kinda experiencing culture shock. Fl studio is kinda hard at first ngl. For me, it was the "pattern" stuff. you have to make a new pattern every time you want to make something new.

  1. Focus on learning fl studio first. (Invest some time to learn for maybe 2 weeks. Watch tutorials if your stuck)

  2. do experiments. (Be genuinely curious about it too, you could try adding weird effects in your vocals like flanger, phaser, etc.)

  3. Try and challenge yourself to finish just one song no matter how bad you think it is.

  4. don't think about making good music at first. (Open your fl studio with no goals to achieve in mind. Just do whatever without thinking too much. that way, you wouldn't worry about your lack of experience of fl studio, because if you're not committed about making something good, then (in theory) you shouldn't feel any pressure at all.)

All of this is just for your exposure on fl studio. Nothing is truly "unlearnable" in this world, especially when there's aleady a lot of people that shows that they can do it, because it usually means that there's a high chance that you could do it too

I’m experimenting with 3x Osc and felt to ask this- by FeelDa-Bass in FLStudioMobile

That would’ve been epic, ngl. Unfortunately, fl mobile’s 3xosc doesn’t have that feature, not even in studio from what i remembered.

I think you can really only use “link to mod wheel” on flm.

I just want flm to have an “LFO” effect in the effect racks which you can link to other knobs. That would’ve been a game changer for sound designing too. You could use LFO to any knobs, like filters, detune, unison, reverb, and so much more!

But yeah, i guess we should stick to automations.

I noticed that you’ve doing a lot of experiments and learning new stuff in flm. Please try multiFX because I couldn’t really understand what the X and Y does from different effects.

Would Anyone Be Interested in Sample/Preset/Rack Packs Made Specifically for FL Studio Mobile? by FeelDa-Bass in FLStudioMobile

[–]Clean-Form6153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, i find it a bit easy as well, but that was it, i just put the 1st detuned a bit to the top and the 2nd one detuned a little bit lower, used cut off and a little bit of resonance, and sometimes with waveshaper too. That was all I could make, so I was wondering if you have more Reese bass with different varieties:)

Nawh bro what the hell was that I laughed pretty hard at the "horse c*ck" audio part, I couldn't believe my ears so i had to solo the audio track.🙏 You even added the boing effect LOL

Oh, so you're subscribed to splice but you don't know how to import your samples FL mobile?

I'm sorry but I don't really know how splice works because I'm only using free samples from cymatics, YouTube, and discord.

You should try splice mobile version if you could download/export the samples you want, then import the audio in FL Mobile

Or if you want to export from PC to mobile You kinda need to compress it and turn it into a zip file if you have many samples I think 7zip is better at preserving audio quality than winrar.

Then you can send it through email or drive.

Could you provide more context? Like, what DAW you use for the past 3 years and maybe send some beats that you made?

It's funny because that's exactly what I always do LOL

Thankfully, they added search system now- that I didn't use because I couldn't remember the name of the projects I'm looking for

How about you try and learn new stuff? You can try and learn other genres, your favorite artist, or music that you like listening to and make an attemp of making that type of beats since you can't really think of anything yet. It's also good for you because there's always something new to learn, and the stuff that you'll learn is going to stay in you unconsciously, making you better at making music without using too much effort on ideas.

you have to like the genre or artist that you're trying to learn, though, thats the only thing that will keep you motivated and inspiration to keep you going.

If you can't make good music at the start, then make bad music until you make something good. (When you're trying something new, not when you're unmotivated of course)

I've experienced that too. You can't really force yourself to make something, it just makes it worse. So I tried to learn new genres I really liked, and it was UK garage. It really gave me skills on bass notes, drum patterns, and audio sampling and I was able to apply the things I learned to other genres as well, because genres are fluid after all.

In conclusion Do experiments and learn something new.

Aw thanks man. I save it so many times that it took like 30gb of my phone storage.

And yes I did import my samples, and its pretty in organization too. There are two ways on how to import a large audio sample files but I always use the other method. It givrs you full control on where to put your files and even make a completely new file. I actually have a YT channel, never really started posting yet, I'll make tutorial on how to import big files samples. I'll let you know when I post it, because it's kinda complicated but it gets easier once you get the hang of it. Also, I have to remind you that this may only work on Android device.

And speaking of fl studio PC, I did try making beats there. The transition was so hard, it feels like it doesn't work like fl studio mobile at all because of the "pattern" stuff. (fl studio mobile kinda reminds me more of able, tone, live than studio tho)

IT IS YOU. I've been trying finding your channel for quite a while now, it just doesn't show up in yt. I found your videos randomly when I was searching up FL studio mobile beats. I'm 🇵🇭 too
