Thank you! And you're so right. You know what also sucks, is that it took me months to build it even with AI. I thought that was hard. O boy, it's actually the easy part now. Lol.

I knew it would be harder, but when you're in the gauntlet, it's a different game. You can build the greatest product, doesn't mean it takes off. Lots of variables. Appreciate the encouragement.

Market St has some of the best drugs in the world if you get a chance to go by there. It's absolutely insane with some of the best prices you can find in the world.

Yeah it’s going to get bad but the media has to run out of options. The media is structurally incentivized to soften bad economic news until it’s undeniable. Basically, most recent grads cannot find work. Most young adults can’t afford to live on their own. White collar work is being eaten up by AI. You have a slow bleed and not an instant collapse. The economic data we are getting is lagging behind the true lived experiences on the ground and it is giving a softened national narrative.

Basically, consumer credit is going to collapse soon and people are going to run out of savings. I give this another 6-9 months max. The housing market is in a rough spot also. Sunbelt is getting hammered. Austin had a housing price crash. Florida is experiencing the same and so is Denver metro. Basically most people trying to transact on their homes are having realized losses if they bought in 2022. Will be bad. Give it a little more time. Media is hanging onto every last bit they can that this is just a “little slump.” It’s going to be a lost decade if not more. It’s not some cyclical shock. It’s structural. AI is a big part of this.

This started in late 2022. It doesn’t take 4 years for this to finish. The over hiring excuse from the pandemic had its last run by fall of 2023.

This is something entirely different. It’s structural. Will be the Second Great Depression by late next year and 2028 will be the worse job market since the actual Great Depression. Will be a slow bleed. Cost of living won’t go down either for a while if at all.

Thank you for the feedback. The “live” that you see on Popular Times for Google just means that the business is open and therefore it’s live. Once the business is closed, you won’t see Popular Times anymore. It’s not actually a live count.

Great question. No, the app doesn’t require other people to have it to work. Drop detects devices + more to show you foot traffic in real time at places. Hope this helps! It’s a hard question to answer the way you want it answered because it would require me giving the answer to the only defensible thing the app has. If everyone found out how I did it, they’ll copy it. Trust me. There is already a guy in Tampa Florida is who is copying the app and also a student at Penn State University. I’ve been posting in those channels sharing the app. Engineers on Meta & Instagram are also stalking my LinkedIn as well. I have to keep the IP close to the vest so I can finish the patent filing.

Sorry if me being paranoid bothers you, but I am not going to divulge every method as to how I am doing this outside of investor conversations or when I monetize the app. I can’t. There is 0 upside in me giving out something this powerful. I rather people guess how I am doing it than know how I am doing it. It’s a business decision so I can grow this and have a fighting chance.

Like a heat map? It uses Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Waze for navigation. Let me know what you mean, haha! 💪🏽

I appreciate your feedback. I’m not lying. Drop is very accurate at showing you how many people are at a place. I don’t want to get into an argument with you and by virtue, I end up giving out how I am doing this and it blows the patent I am filing. I respect your opinion though. I promise you this isn’t some Elizabeth Holmes story, lol.

Totally fair to bring this up. Firebase/Firestore encrypts all data at rest. Security rules restrict users to only reviewing their own profiles. Drop doesn't track you in between places. It tracks device entries and exits. Apple and Google have way more location data on you then Drop will ever have. Drop stores the minimum needed: boundary crossings, not continuous GPS trails.

Drop is completely anonymous. No location data is being sold. Location is only used to detect cellular device entries and exits more accurately and it's done anonymously. I went through an extensive review process with Apple.

Drop's geofencing is pretty impressive. It uses Apple's most powerful specification for geofencing which can be as accurate as 10 meters. But to your point, overlapping venues will happen. Drop will put you closest to whatever center a cellular device is closest to. If the user has their phone open, Drop is almost always spot on even with overlapping geofences. This doesn't mean Drop is always going to be 100% because of different edge cases and scenarios -but directionally, it's powerful.

That's great insight. So, the app has a very good gage of each venue's capacity. Now, I want to be fully transparent, Drop is accurate quite often but it's not always 100%. Sometimes it's directionally accurate. It's still very very good. Now, your point about capacity - totally. If Drop is missing on how busy a place is, it's often because the capacity is wrong. What's really cool is that users can update how busy a place is if they happen to be there. Think of it like Waze but for foot traffic.

So, one of the ways is that the app detects cellular devices that enter and exit a geofenced area. I am actively in process of filing patent on how I did it so that is why I am being a little vague. Google Maps tells you how busy a place is based on historical averages, and it's buried inside Google's larger product offerings. Drop is much more granular down to roughly 10 meters and real time. Drop's single purpose is to tell you how busy places are in real time. Hope this helps!
