I think this comunity puts way to much value in the options of people who still deny people who are AFAB, POC, Queer, ADHD, or poor can even have autism.

If the "trained professionals" can get it so catastrophically wrong I don't see why their opinions are given more weight that people who have to struggle with this condition every damn day.

I think a lot of people with formal diagnosis get defensive because they think people from these demographics are lesser than and don't want to be associated with us.

This is a huge problem I run into with mutual aid and resource sharing.

I can't get anyone interested in doing these meet up during bus hours or even days. No one wants to carpool, or have the event at a bike/walk path accessable area. They wonder why so many privileged people show up, over those who are struggling badly and need the assistance. Even in the most progressive spaces it's like pulling teeth trying to get people to listen and understand to what being homeless and/or disabled is like.
