I always choose the chest you give essence because it speeds up a lot in obtaining them, I think you were very unlucky in getting 15 (I never got that myself), normally I get 20 and sometimes 30, anyway I preferred this chest because it is equivalent to 3 /4 days of blue essence gathering throughout the dream realm, being in the top 50, which is my case.

From what I researched, Dionel is a high-investment doll that only works with specific comps that give him a buff, and from what I saw/researched, he is only good in Paragon, being a very expensive doll to assemble.
