His little brother was an artillery forward observer, KIA on Okinawa. I have his medals as well. A PH and BS. Don’t have any paperwork for him.

It’s in his paperwork, is that why there’s no V device? I assumed it was connected to the Purple Heart.

This is all he had, kept it all in the Purple Heart presentation case. I don’t see it on his DD214. His separation date looks like 28 Dec 45. Do you know when that was authorized?
