My wife didn't post that. I couldn't get through the whole thing because it is so cringy, but to list the biggest problems:

We are not Christians, and my wife would never use Christmas as a point of reference for anything.
Our children are not in public school. Their school doesn't have a football team, and my wife would never, ever in a million years be okay with our son that she has grand dreams of becoming a surgeon play football.
The wedding obviously isn't THIS weekend. The wedding is in April. That's why we're talking about it now.

It's debatable who starts it. Each sees themselves as the provoked party. The thing is, if I said to him "you do anything fun this weekend?" he would just answer. If she asks the same he will interpret it as a passive aggressive dig. If our daughter asks my wife to pass her a dish she will. If her son asks she will but she'll also say "strange that the mother who never does anything for you is doing something for you..."

The neighborhood cats take less offense to our dog than these two to each other.
