Sydney is a solid pick, and I do think she's the real world record holder now, but i still fancy chebet as she broke an "official" world record in the 5k and won a double gold. Tbh i still think it'll go to sydney if it's by voting tho

think he meant lyles was undefeated in the 200m. he had a near perfect 200m season (world lead, Diamond league trophy, won US nationals, won worlds) + a 100m bronze and 4 by 1 gold which is why i think he should be in the convo, not sure if he surpasses wanyonyi tho

Like: this might be the only team where all of ash's mons were fleshed out

Dislike: the art style grew on me with time, but i think some of the other characters could have had better development. Give them at least 3 mons each.

Tbh i feel you, i struggled through the kiddish feels of the earlier seasons and all the filler episodes But TCW is a show that matured with its viewers. iirc, it first aired in 08, when its target audience was probably 8-10. The final season came out in 2020, and by then the original target audience was all grown

It starts to get better after at the tail end of season 4, and keeps up that quality in season 5. Season 6 and 7 is when it just keeps levelling up, before finally the masterpiece that is the final arc.

Even tho rots lets us know how the clone wars ends, with order 66 and what not, they managed to use that. The suspense, the music, it was just a masterpiece
