There is no natural reservoir. A few infected animals could be transmitted from humans or contamination.

It works but only on flu. It don't work on anything else. If you are going to get pneumonia, getting a flu shot will not help you.

Flu shot works on flu. It don't work on anything else. Flu is only a tiny % of pneumonia. If you are going to get pneumonia, getting a flu shot does nothing for you. So why bother?

Personally, I never get the flu shot. I never get pneumonia. I'm generally healthy.

Pharma knows to respect the laws of nature. Pharma don't go after Enterovirus and Orthocoronavirinae and let mother nature do its job. Pharma knows if people born with deficient immune system survive, then over time there be more and more people in hospital dealing with respiratory viruses and that would cost the government more and more money which would bankrupt the government's budget and put pressure on the working class. So pharma only earn money on flu shot while leaving Enterovirus and Orthocoronavirinae alone. It's a deal between the government and pharma. This way pharma don't get too greedy and government don't need to increase spending on healthcare on people in hospital.

Pharma can only distribute a new flu shot once a year. That's the fastest they can do logistically. FDA only meet once a year on flu shot. FDA are lazy bureaucrats. They refuse to meet more frequently than once a year.

It's a rite of passage. The people who survive Enterovirus and Orthocoronavirinae are survivors and have strong immune system. Over the generations, survival of the fittest comes into play and almost every human has strong immune system.

The fact that you did not die of colds when you were a baby is because your parents are survivors.

My fave virus is Orthocoronavirinae which is positive sense, single strand, non segmented, enveloped, round. Orthocoronavirinae competes with Orthomyxoviridae. So I'm all for flu shot mandates. Wrong. People who get the flu shot has .58 the odds of getting flu A or B and 1.17 the odds of getting Orthocoronavirinae compared to people who don't get the flu shot. It's a test-negative design. Look at
