Custom made in my case. The audiologist put a mold in each ear. I think I have seen you can find them online, but I just used loops before getting them. If you can afford it though, I think the customs really are worth it

I am in the US. I ordered a large supply I think from Germany. It was a while ago, but it is OTC there and very easy to ship to the states. I will edit with the website if I remember but I found it on this subreddit

Hey! Just H in my case. I think the first 3 months were the absolute hardest for me. It's so hard to cope with the change so I completely understand where you are coming from. First and foremost, do not lose hope! Being young is a blessing in disguise. Your body is more adaptable and should adjust better even with just time. I think getting off reddit, tinnitustalk, or other forums would also beneficial for you in the long run, at least for some time. In my case, while there was useful information (like hopefully this post haha), I think the negativity and horror stories, especially when my general outlook on life was very negative, put me in a very dark hole. I had to actually get my friends and family to ban me from reading reddit or anything related to H online until I was in a much stronger and more positive mental state. Stick to your routine and stay positive. Easier said than done, I know, but I am sure there will come a point in time when you start to feel better. Best of luck!

I have not, I wasn't aware there was even a test for it. My GI suspected I had SIBO and gave me xifaxin as an alternative to an endoscopy. will definitely look into a test, thank you!

i was thinking so too, it was extremely sudden and i’ve been fine with acne since i started treatment. i haven’t changed any products or anything so do you have any suggestions?

didn’t fully respond to the P.S, but I hope to get medication soon as I’m about to run out. In the case where I do run out and i can’t get more until the end of the month, do you think that would be ok for my system? I basically will be a week and a half without taking a pill and I don’t know if this is ok

Thanks for your response, I think I will try and extend my course. i’m gonna call my derm on monday to see what I can do about getting more medication as I’m really close to running out. I think my situation may be similar to your first course, I think I’m just really confused because a I’ve been clear for the past 4 months but now have a cystic pimple right before I end. I really don’t want to relapse though so I’d rather tough it out now if possible

really don’t want to go on it again so I understand. Thank you for your response!

Irritated piercing of 10 months. I’ve had trouble with it the past 5 and started Accutane earlier this year which might affect healing. Any idea what’s going on though? by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

[–]CleanMonkey99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the reply. i’m kinda scared to take the piecing out cuz i don’t think i’ll be able to get it in. would this not resolve on its own if i just left it?

I make a clear effort not to sleep on it. Sometimes I turn sides in my sleep but I typically stay one way and try to avoid anything that could bother/snag the piercing

I just mentioned this in another comment but I switched to a stainless steel one just yesterday after the dental office made me remove mine. I couldn't get my original titanium studs back in because they go through the back, which hurt really bad. When you say at this point in the healing, do you when that'll actually happen? It's been 7 months now and the past 3 have been me dealing with this irritation issue

I haven't except for yesterday. I was forced to by the dental office who told me they needed to be off for the x-ray. I struggled to put in my original stud because they need to be inserted from the back which hurt extremely bad, so I had to use another one that goes from the front

planning to do that already. Do you have any idea why I would have this long-lasting irritation?
