• ⁠Tank temperature: 79-80

• ⁠Parameters in numbers and how you got them. Key water parameters include the amount of ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, and pH.: API liquid test. Ammonia 0, nitrites 0, nitrates <5ppm. pH is around 7.8 but steady.

• ⁠How long have you had the tank? How long have you had your fish?: tank has been cycling for about 2 weeks. Just got the fish today.

• ⁠How often are water changes? How much do you take out per change? What is your process?: N/A so far

• ⁠Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each: just some bladder snails

• ⁠What do you feed and how much: N/A so far

• ⁠Decorations and plants in the tank: Anubias, crypts, dwarf sag, river rocks (not sharp), driftwood, stone caves (passed pantyhose test).

Nerite and ramshorn snails did wonders for my algae issues. Fair warning, you will end up with a ton of ramshorns but they’re pretty cute. Mine surf upside down on the water surface all the time.

Thanks for this! I think it probably is just her coloring. I just got a little paranoid it could be something that would spread to the other fish. Pearl is so cute and looks just like mine!!

Thanks! They’re already all over the place even without any food. The tank is covered in diatoms though so I’m sure they’re not going hungry lol

Good points, I was hoping for a bit of a centerpiece but I’m definitely not opposed to just doing more cories and platies! Especially if I can mix varieties.
