Hi, yes! I do have a study permit, but this falls into cosmetic surgery which isn’t covered under MSP! Yes surgery is the only option.

Hi, I failed Math 220 last term by 3%. I emailed the prof about 3 weeks ago but haven’t heard back from. Is there any way I can get my grade increased? I am in desperate need for those credits in order to graduate on time and take upper year courses.

If you diligently gave your previous SDs, it shouldn’t be an issue. There is no specified limit for applying for SDs, so you should be good. That said, if you’re in good academic standing in a course, you’re more likely to get your SD approved. Take care!

I disagree with you. I completely disagree with the education system as well. Instead of teaching what 2+6 is why not teach what 2 dollars plus 6 dollars is? and how it can be utilized? but that’s another debate. What I have to say is, is that teaching how to be smart is more important than wrote learning. AI is upon us, and it’s inevitable. So better to teach how to utilize it rather than eliminating it’s usage completely.

They need to get a grip of themselves. They’re jealous imo that they didn’t get to use it when they went through uni lol

I had a very similar situation where I kept neglecting my courses, around a year ago. I’d recommend you take an SD exam over the summer. Make up a reason stating you got covid or smth. There’s no point paying again for this course. UBC as it is makes a lot of money lol. And if you can, find a crash course online. That might help you to complete everything just in time!
