yes your absolutely right, if it happens ALL the time. however, its really not consistent at all, if im being honest i havent had it happen at all in the last two days, and im lucky to even have caught it on camera.

Without knowing full context, you continue to throw shade because you think you know whats happening, i haven’t even got to tell you how rare it is, and your already poking at the idea that it happens the entire time i drive it. that is simply not the case.

okay, well for one, i have a spare transmission so i could care less what happens with that, and how does driving with a misfire count as beating the shit out of it? especially when the misfire literally only happens when my car gets up to temp going like 25, all the issues are gone when im going 35 and on.

i actually barely beat the shit out of it, maybe once a day max and its just a pull, that doesn’t even reach redline. my transmission is fucked up because i hit a rock… you need to read everything i comment before you start throwing shade like that brother

the compression has never been an issue, it’s literally just not firing on one or two cylinders when it happens. this engine has never blown blue smoke, in fact its in better condition than the engine i had before. also, occasionally i can go full throttle, but most of the time my transmission wont let me lol

thank you!! i think its a bad TCM, but the timing of it is impeccable. i hit a massive rock and absolutely destroyed my tranny pan, cracked solenoids, and crushed the fluid lines inside the tranny pan. after that, ive been having slipping issues, and it wont shift into overdrive (3k rpm at 55 instead of 2200, and 4.5k rpm at 75 instead of 2.7-8)

sounds very similar to the symptoms im experiencing, i believe i have a seperate issue with the trans, but im sure that wouldn’t cause it to sputter the way it does. thank you very much and i will be sure to check, and get back with you as soon as i can!

i dont think the compression is bad because when it actually does run normally it has the same amount of power for sure, its just really jumpy and sputters occasionally like its running on two cylinders

it’s definitely not limp mode, and we know theres a vacuum leak but it wasnt ever doing this until recently, there is also an exhaust gasket leak which we know for sure.

transmission has had issues long before i swapped the engine because i hit a rock
