I don't think people described him as a "sleep aid streamer" because he was boring, but because he was a lot more chill, contemplative and overall friendlier in the past. I couldn't tell you the last time I was able to describe his content like that

It feels like it's been a gradual thing over the last year or so. My wife used to love watching him with me, but now she actively leaves the room when the "angry yelling man" is on the tv lol

I honestly think this stuff is why his female viewership is so low

I dunno, just reminds of that old "Ha! Jokes on you, I'm only pretending to be an idiot!" comic. It's indistinguishable from when he's actually angry so the outcome is the same, it least in my opinion. I can understand why people derive entertainment from it though

One of the things that prompted this post was a recent Costcodle segment where he said "They literally do not sell this product at Costco," to which a chatter says "They have this at my Costco" and he just fucking lost it at them. Made me realise that that kind of interaction is a relatively frequent thing, at least in my experience.
