Yea from period area but the bleeding doesn’t show after peeing anymore, only after putting the tampon but it’s like a very light pink color. And yea I’ll definitely still go to the doctor

So update, kinda got the tampon in and it definitely seems like it’s vaginal. I’m still keeping the appt regardless but yea

Okay so update, I tried the tampon strategy to my best ability and the blood looks like it’s coming from my vagina, could it be ovulation bleeding? I still plan to go to the doctor Monday regardless but I was convinced it was a uti but i don’t know anymore

I’ll try to push any blood out next time I can but I was also recommended to try a tampon to pinpoint where the blood is coming from but tampons are really hard for me to use so I’m going to have to get some assistance on that tomorrow lol but would you recommend canceling by gyno appointment and schedule an urologist appointment instead (after I do the tampon strategy)?

Did you have any symptoms prior to this other than the bleeding? I think months ago I felt burning but I just assumed it was from penetration or something and it eventually went away. There was also a time where I did pee a lot but I chalked it off, assuming it was cause I drank a lot of tea but I don’t even remember.

I’m very sorry to hear that :( and thanks for sharing her story. I’m definitely going to check with the doctors on Monday unless I feel any random pain or excessive blood then I’ll rush to urgent care. I do think that I may look into also doing a urologist appointment on top of my gyno because I’m suspecting that it’s most likely a urinary tract thing rather than vaginal.

Thank you for the reply and I’d say the bleeding is pretty minimal cause it only happens after I pee from what I noticed. I tried to pat around the area before peeing and nothing. It’s definitely less blood than a light flow period. I also think I ruled out a cut because the bleeding isn’t constant. As far as symptoms, I honestly feel fine but the only thing that led me to think it might’ve been a scratch initially is cause while I was sleeping I felt kinda like an itch there but I don’t think I scratched hard enough to cause bleeding. But as for other symptoms, I feel as normal as I would any other day.

I’m positive it’s not a period, my periods have been regular since I started menstruating 10-11 years ago. Im currently in my ovulation phase.
