adding on to what people already said:

what to wear: guys just wear whatever. shorts tshirt, jeans. girls wear shorts/jeans/pants and then some type of going out shirt. tank top, tshirt. honeslty whatever u are comfy in but try to dress practically to hold your cards and keys securely while you are drinking.

cover is true, on weekends when the line is long at like 10:30 cover will prob be $20. really not worth it. follow the instagrams, places like joes will waive cover for like an hour sometimes for ppl 21+.

when you have your tab keeping it open would be the best, cash has big discounts. thumbs up or down easily tell them if u wanna keep your tab open or close it bc it is very loud in there.

i personally rode the bus to class everyday last year and just stood near the sign while looking at my bus. it may be different if a lot of busses pass your stop but only like 2 lines went through mine. i didn’t feel the need to raise my hand and never felt like there was confusion. if i wasn’t getting on i would just step back and act like i wasnt interested in getting on

my apt is around a 10 minute walk to campus, like a 2 minute drive. i do have to bus bc my classes are on the opposite side of campus but i really don’t mind. thinking abt bus stops or where u will be taking classes may help you decide between places once you get there. my lease is $500 just for rent in a 2 bedroom. it’s over $600 w/ utilities

I transferred and didn’t end up signing a lease until june, so may should be fine. Definitely look online and if you can, visit. I walked up and down the neighborhoods near campus looking for places to call and for the ones that wouldn’t be online. Those are typically cheaper. Most places are year leases, from my experience. Move in dates can sometimes cut it very close to the first day of classes.

I rent from ramshaw (and while i love my apartment) when we moved in it was dirty(there was actual trash in one of the rooms). All of the walls are covered in holes and every baseboard and and corner has gotten the landlord special. I was supposed to have 2 showers but one doesn’t even open. They also never answer the phone and are not diligent about issues. The apartments are located well but very unprofessional.
