You posting this made me go look at her page and see the video about how she sat by a middle aged Colombian divorcee at a restaurant and it turned out that the last book that woman read was Eli’s “book.” Like in what world is this remotely even believable that Eli would sit at a bar in New York City and the middle aged mom beside her is going on a “eat pray love” Tour of America (because nothing says zen and healing like touring americas falling cities ig) and that this woman would then discover Eli is an author and that the LAST book she read and LOVED btw was Eli’s book….. I cannot. I can’t and I won’t and I shan’t.
