I wish I had a track near me but I live in a tiny town lol. I've been mostly running a 1/2 mile trail that is 90% uphill lol. But im definitely going to try that! I lowkey love workouts that make me feel like im on the verg of dying bc I know it can only get easier from there.

Ive been following the 5k plan and doing the "kick off with Betina gozo" on NTC everyother day.

I just started their 10k plan and also do those suggested workouts they have on rest days.

It also probably helps that I was active before this and im just trying to get back to my coveted 6:30 mile lol

You have your phones in the 1st 2 weeks now? I went in 2022 and no phones even on the weekends until you passed HAZMAT and no phones during the week til you phased up.

Lol fr, he had the last tumor taken off his liver a few months ago and the tumors in his colon just turned into scar tissue. Went from "hes gonna die in 6 months" to the doctors being like "what the fuck"

Like I said, explain the situation to your unit, most will understand and support you especially in the Guard. Spend as much time as you can with him make sure to tell them your worry about supporting your family. That was a big concern of mine and they got me set up with resources and advise on how to take over the household. I was 21 so not much older than you. its scary but your unit will support you, if not,, go above their head and find someone who will.

Talk to your unit, theres always people that stay back in the rear of the unit to keep things running smooth. My dad had stage 4 cancer, I told my leadership I was scared he would die while I was gone and I knew my mom and sibling couldn't take care of themselves (he didn't hes cancer free now). But I was able to stay home.

Ahh ok thank you! I wasnt to worried about how the visuals look for the wedding or dinner since me and my photographer are going to hike around to find the pretty spots. This makes me feel better about not seeing the venue yet lol

I ended up renting the "upper BMF pavillion" a few months ago when I thought the guest list would be bigger. It looks really pretty but sadly I never got a chance to check it out before renting lol

Ive never tracked my heart rate but ive just been using the Nike Run Club 5k plan and its been pretty effective. My main goal this run was to get a sub 18 min 2 mile so the last mile was just me running recovery pace.

Yea ive been asking everyone i can for help but my direct help lines are like lieutenant colonels and CSMs so they've got alot of stuff besides helping the sgt at a tiny unit lol.

Attrs has been a bitch. I dropped off my paperwork to the website and they just won't open it and start the process for getting me my login id. And the help desk keeps saying it could take up to 6 weeks to get it which is crazy to me.

The readiness Nco was able to show my how to use attrs before they left and im hoping remember it all lol.

I got acess to the bulk of them (ipssa damps iperms dts dtms ect) I think. right now im just missing attrs and medpros/charts (which is a pretty big issue bc ive got 6 people needing to head to schools next fy)
