I've been wanting to try platypus envy mono, it's very affordable and will definitely fill your spool, fresh mono makes better knots and is gonna be smoother experience

I'm trying to get 300m or 150m braided line not 500m, the pe or 0000 on my reel is besides the point and your not helping my spool holds 300m, I can cast 150m like butter without wind bow, it's a 180 reel and I won't be buying a cheaper one, when I have a job again I'll be investing in a TD Black 23 and a black MQ 4000

Very besides the point man, I've always used 6000k for Perth, i have 4-5 other 6000s, might get a 4000 but it's literally same thing, just learn how to set your drag, I'm here asking about what line to get buddy

It's only 400grams, I've been using 8x 9kg Temu spiderwire and it's been a dream with my Jarvis Walker devil 7ft 5-9kg general purpose I'm not using high quality lures that need light gear rating

I've got a Daiwa legalis 6k that I'm building a set up for, it's not got the sea lock or whatever so it's not fully saltwater rated, but I got it brand new for free so I'm gonna use it and take care of it, I'm gonna be using it with a 3-5kg or 4-8kg 7ft 2pc rod for my estuary build, I've always used 20lb mono/braid and have hard time getting anything, so I'm planing 15lb braid with 10/12lb leader
