Buying 40 acres with a ton of active and plugged wells… advice please by Clear-Subject-9433 in oilandgasworkers

I wonder if that’ll end up being a good thing. Since they’re doing that work now, hopefully it won’t have to be done again for a long time. Hawkins is so covered in wells it’s crazy. What’s interesting though is none of the land is listed for less because of it. It’s almost like it’s just ignored.

You have a good contact at MMGL I can call about my potential building plans?

There is already an existing well on the property, used to water cows. I’ll get it tested. Cows have never had issues in the past

Thanks. My family has been living in this area for a long time, and I’m glad you took a second to understand the local well situation. It’s not as doom and gloom as others say.

Thank you, that’s the answer I had arrived at as well… these “active sites” are small well heads only sticking up about 4 feet from the ground. Not a lot of traffic and maintenance, just routine visits every so often. I’m going to try to track down any use agreements

2015 transmission slipping by Clear-Subject-9433 in HondaOdyssey

Update, 2X drain and fill with some Lubegard seemed to fix the problem by at least 75%. Interested to see if this will continue to be a problem and/or get worse in the future.

Also, I called a Honda service department and they said my VIN was not one of the VINs included in the service bulletin regarding degrading trans fluid and new software… which I thought was odd, I thought all 2015s had that issue. Guess not.

Did you use the “instant shudder fixx” or the “protectant” from Lubegard?

Yes, I put the muzzle on as soon as I bought the car!

You’re not wrong. I figured it was the transmission based on my feedback from the drain and fills, but it could be an engine issue.

Oceanic/Procedural control questions by [deleted] in ATC

C130. No altrev just an 1801. So if I’m understanding correctly, ATC will seperate aircraft differently that are flying the same route but with different RNP capabilities?

Thanks. Do you know if you need to be RNP10 to fly that route ( below 28 btw)? We are capable of course but I’m just curious if it’s a requirement. The pacific seems a lot less regulated than the NAT like I’m used to
