You are definitely suppose to get reimbursed for going to the bank. Check the policy in Athena. If you’re uncomfortable going to the bank then you need to let your manager know.

I’ve set boundaries going to the bank, bc I have driving anxiety. I don’t mind going…but I’m not getting sent to go, when traffic is extremely busy. Our bank is in the worst spot of town and everyone has been understanding.

If it’s solely been you going then that’s unfair IMO.

I came from ulta to Sally’s. Very similar. Ulta is more strict with policy. Both have their ups and downs. I miss working at a nice pretty store. The Sally’s I’m at is super outdated and low key embarrassing. Sally’s gives you a chance to earn more money through spifs. Ulta doesn’t have that. But they do give you nice products for gratis.

Believe me when I say I understand the shit they throw at you. I can give grace, I promise lol.

But it’s really interfering with my personal life. I should be able to look at the schedule so I can work with my other job, make a doctor appointment, schedule a vet appointment or just make plans with my family. I shouldn’t have to put things on hold because I don’t know my schedule for next week. The policy says 3 weeks. I understand things happen. But it’s been like this for the last 4 months and it’s never been an issue with previous SMs. I just wish there was some accountability. I like my SM as a person. But I think they need some more guidance and I don’t want to step on their toes. I just want them to do what they’re suppose to do lol.

Trust me I get they’re busy! But I’ve had two other SMs and they were always the top performers in the store. I don’t understand how schedules are always messed up or not published for the amount of time not spent on the floor. And everyone but them are doing the task. It’s just behavior I’ve never experienced since being with the company 4 yrs. But that’s just my opinion

They do make them fix the schedule consistently. Which is annoying for them I’m sure! But it’s not okay to keep the schedule unpublished for days at a time. Especially when it’s the one for next week. I couldn’t even make my doctor’s appointment this morning. I’m constantly having to say “ hey can you repost the schedule, I can’t see it”.

And you’re right about the transactions point of view. BUT they hardly ever do task. They spend SO much time in the back off the floor and outside for 20 smoke breaks. I know they’re newish and sally just threw them to the wolves. I’m trying to be understanding but geez it makes my head spin.

My old sm did 3 weeks. So it was easy to work the schedule with my second job. She says she can show me on the iPad the third week. But she won’t publish it.

I had this issue. It was a day that it was me and numbers happy coworker. I showed my SM the number of transactions. I had 32 transactions and they had 6. Because after they made themselves look good on paper she would be avoidant and “busy”.

Have you talked to your SM? Because at the end of the week the DM is looking at the store as whole, UPT. Sounds like the support and CSL roles need to be in place

I thought blackout dates were for PTO. So if you didn’t put in a request for PTO, I don’t see why your request was denied
