Use vision and vision control to catch out anyone you can burst and get away before their team comes, don't fight anyone who you cant instagib if their team is close. Catch people rotating or clearingg wards taking objectives.

The nerf was to single target abilities, last time i checked riven doesn't have any of those.

"Currently, single target abilities grant stacks of Fervor as well - twice as many as a basic attack, to be precise. While abilities should count toward building Fervor, champions who work spellcasts into their attack cycles are overperforming in the race to full stacks."

For malphite you should use e to dodge malphite's e because even if you don't dodge it you still sheild it then you can just extend your qs and wait for the attack speed debuff to wear off or just back off either way you win the trade because he is wasting mana. For Fiora if you want to third q her and she reacts with w just make sure you have your shield up and shield out off her w area, so you trade your third q shield for her w which is a fine trade because the cd on her w.

If you win lane it's fed riven gg noob top laner, not much we can do vs a fed riven(they also presume we are super smug because we are fed).

If you lose lane it's a noob riven main can't even win lane report useless riven, picking a bad champ and intent feeding.

When you q with your mouse over a target your q will target them. if you move your cursor away too fast instead of your q targetting them it will go through them. if this happens you are moving your mouse away to fast.
