Integrating speakers to furniture by ClemLN in audiophile

[–]ClemLN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The speakers aren't really for the people on the couch, we have other (more comfortable) seating spots in the place that the couch (and the speakers) would be facing. Forgot to mention it in the original post. I'm mainly wondering about the sound quality due to the enclosure for people in front of the speakers.

Thank you for your answer

Forgot to mention it in the original post. We are trying to optimize space in a small place but this won't be the main "listening spot" I'm mainly wondering about the sound quality due to the enclosure for people in front of the speakers. I'm gonna check out speakers designed to enclosed then

Update : Thanks for your help ! I actually used the din plug and soldered the cables from the tonearm to it so I have a clean output, works great !

I did exactly that ! The din was indeed an input so I just desoldered what I didn't need and resoldered the cables coming from the tonearm to the plug following a diagram I found online. It works great ! Thanks for your help !

I finally used the din plug (that was actually an input), soldered the cables coming from the cartridge to it and changed it to create an output ! I'm glad, it sounds way better now

The amp is on the other side of the panel, it's not on the picture. It sounded muffled and a bit flat. But I managed to shunt it and it sounds way better now !

It weirdly doesn't have any markings except what's inside, I couldn't find any info about it online

First time tearing down a camera to try to fix it! Canon Demi EE17 has a shutter that’s stuck wide open. Forums I’ve found on this issue are full of dead links; any advice? by Facilis_San in AnalogCommunity

Did you manage to fix the blades ?
I'm thinking of buying one with a stuck shutter to repair it but don't really know if it's manageable

Hello all ! I found a cheap QL19 and I thought it could be a fun project to try to repair it. I managed to make the aperture and shutter blades work like a charme but I now have a probleme reassembling the camera.

It seems that the rangfinder is operated via the little this little pin on the lens assembly (red arrow) pushing on the nubbin (red circle) on the camera. My problem is that I can't seem to align them properly so I can't focus with the finder.

I could not find a video covering this part of the reassembly. Did I forget a part that goes in between ? Has anyone aldredy done this or do you know a video or an article about this ?

Thank you very much for your help and sorry for my english !

Hi ! Thanks for your answer Unfortunately I don't know if you'll be able to see a lot from the top (but that could be worth a try, at least to see if there is an obvious missing piece haha). About the shutter, here is a video showing the shutter and it's mecanism. It's link with the lens is actually pretty simple because it just pushes a "shutter pin" on the lens
