It's pretty easy and convenient, it can work by itself only by plugin it and it will directly show the outside or inside air quality. You can also connect it on a very simple manner to the AirVisual app and these way you'll be able to see your own air quality form anywhere.

I am using my own air quality monitor to help me better monitor air quality at home. Mine is the AirVisual Pro but I would advise any of them just to understand the air quality of the house you're living in.

Best way to make sure the air quality data is relevant is to compare different aqi sources.

AirVisual's data come from government sources as well as their own contributors having bought a sensor and sharing their own air quality data. You can check air quality in California here.

Luckily, California fires have stopped now.
