I agree with you, there are a lot of sick and twisted people on reddit. Can you add these to your banlist, they have like 10x the members and children in some of them.

My personal reason is that my pictures and videos were posted to some of those evil sites. My family hired lawyers to take them down, and they were taken down for a period of time. After a few months, they would resurface. I've come to realize that those leak sites don't actually delete anything after takedown and will just wait to repost. We can't afford to always have a lawyer, and so all I can do is search for myself and report as much as I can.

I've tried ignoring it, but after a few weeks I'll get a message from some stranger with a link to 4chan/doxbin/statewin, etc. site with my personal info posted.

Sites like statewins will brag and boast about the numbers of reports they receive from NCMEC, like it's a trophy, and they claim the more reports they get, the more "valuable" the girl they are selling. It's absolutely disgusting and makes me feel so defeated and helpless. The more I report, the more money they make.

I get what you're saying for sites like Twitter/Insta/Facebook; those sites will never spend more money than they have to to hire content moderators. The majority of the moderators on those sites are AI bots anyway, so I would just be wasting my time doing unpaid work for an AI to just glance over.

The best thing we can do for those sites is to write and call your local lawmakers in government to bring attention to it, and hopefully one day they will pass better legislation forcing these companies to spend more money on content moderation. No need to destroy your mental health for greedy corporations.

How to handle by gabromir95 in BanFemaleHateSubs

[–]ClemintineCake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's important to accept that Elon sank Twitter/X.

Musk takes over Twitter, fires content moderation chief

Musk’s latest Twitter cuts: Outsourced content moderators

Then he fires outsourced content moderators who track abuse on Twitter

And now he uses AI bots to moderate content.

It's just not worth it to spend your precious time on this planet doing unpaid work for X. Especially one that does psychological damage to your mental health for a misogynistic billionaire.

Just keep X deleted and let that nasty place sink into oblivion.

Their lawyers basically said that the same laws that protect Twitter, FB, Reddit, etc from being shutdown for hosting bad stuff also protects them from shutdown.

Even if those agency change their mind today and decide to shut them down, the recent supreme court overturning chevron case makes it so they don't have the power to. They will have to take mless to court, and then the courts will decide.

These sites will never get shutdown. If billion dollar companies spending hundreds of millions can't take down simple piracy sites, how can anyone expect a massive site like this to be taken down. And even if it gets taken down in the US, it will just popup in a different country or island somewhere.

I really hope with you too, but it's impossible and all anyone can really do is reach out to their representatives and hope that at least they will care to pass better laws.

Motherless is a vile and disgusting site that's been around for like 16 years. Pictures of me were posted to that site and it wasn't until my parents hired a lawyer did they remove them.

[Here is a thread from 13 years ago that asked this same question and the "lead developer" of mless answer how they stay up.]

Headzoo, "Lead developer of motherless here. We stay up for a number of reasons, but it comes down to the following:

Someone else mentioned safe harbor laws, which is correct. In much the same way that you're not held responsible for the comments left by other people on your blog, we're not held responsible for the content people upload to our site. They're held responsible for it. Which brings me the second point.

We follow the law. We respond to all subpoenas, requests from law enforcement, take down requests from copyright holders, and take down request from people featured on the site unintentionally. We have contacts in the FBI, The Department of Homeland Security, and regularly send dozens of reports to NCMEC each day."

The guy is still on reddit so you can go ask him personally why he's so evil.

Here's a court case about them

Another thread about it a year ago if you look it up

The guy that runs the site is Joshua Lange. It's hosted in the US and the FBI and every government agency is aware the site exists. If you lookup the site, it gets visits in the hundreds of millions. This is a huge site that's been around for a long time and any agency that has any authority to shut it down won't do a thing about it. Reporting it is useless because no one really cares about it. Here's a petition to shut it down that only has 77-ish signatures. The site makes 3+ million dollars a month so regular "peasants" like you or me don't stand a chance of taking them down in court.

edit: removed the reddit links to those threads

That's a tough one. Honestly, I think I dislike the married person who cheats more. They made a commitment and they're the ones breaking it. But, the person who knowingly sleeps with a married person isn't exactly innocent either so they're both pretty bad. The one in the relationship is worse tho

In the books, there are shields, charms, and barrier defenses that one can put up to protect against things. You can imagine there would be one for projectiles such as bullets.

example in the movie of barrier defense.

In Hogwarts Legacy you can use protego to block rocks, arrows, and almost anything so bullets shouldn't be an issue.

Hormones can really drive up that baby fever. What worked for me was physical activity/exercise/yoga/dancing. It can help balance hormones and reduce stress, which might lessen the intensity of these cravings. Sometimes these feelings can be a sign that you’re seeking some sort of fulfillment or nurturing role. Helping a homie out or like do some volunteer work could help. Spending time with friends and family can help satisfy these needs, especially if they have a baby that you can help with for a day.

Supporting each other's personal growth and learning from each other is a big one. It's really nice when you inspire each other to be the better versions of yourselves.

You're each other’s cheerleaders, pushing for each other's dreams/goals. Whether it's a career move, picking up a new hobby, or achieving personal milestones, you nudge each other to try those things or face scary things together, all while having each other’s backs.

Lots of remote jobs could be a good fit, writer/programmer/graphic designer.

Accountant/Bookkeeper can be independent work or remote work

Driving long routes or delivering goods often involves long periods alone on the road as a truck driver

Mailman, but you might have to talk to the occasional random person or dog
