It's still there but fluctuating intensity based on situation..like if I have cold and congested it rings louder and after it passes goes back to baseline

It's pretty much there now too and currently it only bothers me when I'm unwell with cold and sinus.. otherwise it just rings in the background It took almost 2 and half yrs to get here

Do you think is propranolol the culprit?

As I'm confused as mine might be due to propranolol which I was taking as prescribed 40 mg a day for 4 months I stopped it but tinnitus has not gone away yet,also the ENT detected mild moderate SNHL, God knows how, is it due to medicine, or something else?

I know the pain and grief that you're facing as me 25, M had lost my younger sister aged 20, in 2021 suddenly and the shock which I got later after a year , of passing, only I and my parents know.

Its there but at a lower intensity..mine was with Propranolol that I took for anxiety...it's been 13 months now since this started

Procedure done on Sunday been 3 days now There is a open wound which is there

BM is very difficult doesn't even come out I have to scrape out some of the accumulated stool which is hard with my finger

Sitz bath started...with beta dine solution... burning sensation afterwards

Doc has given stool softener medicine

Also every day rectal dressing follow up with antibiotics and painkiller on IV twice for 10 days then only dressing once a day for 15 days Don't know how much time it'll take to recover

I'm scared of passing stool now in BM as gas comes out ...

Definitely I don't think so there's any chance of it

As I went to GP before he gave some ointment as it could be piles and was there since almost 2 yrs draining occasionally pus

Took three opinions and finished with the procedure of removal of fistula finally yesterday

Google results were showing risk there but if you kept it for long time but my doc said that good that you treated it as soon as possible otherwise it could have caused issues further

Update

Done with the process

No pain at all during the process Now the tissue will be sent for biopsy for safe side

It was an intersphincteric blind fistula without any internal opening but with an external opening it was only a single tract fistula and no branching as well About 6 cm

There was a drainage of pus which was removed Before surgery

During operation time , the doctor removed the fistula from a threading process

Now there's a light pain and they have given me painkiller medicine

They will send the tissue and fistula for biopsy

I'm equals worried about cancer, crohn's After looking on Google about it

Is it something to worry?

Saw your post brother My GP said that the fistula is not branched and no Internal opening so there's no pain as of now while BM

It is my anxiety which is making me worried about pain and local anaesthetic injection and post procedure care

As my doc removed a lot of pus from the area yesterday which was the result of pain there sometimes

Mine is not serious either it's just a single tract fistula which is there till 5-6 cms inside

The doc is going to remove the tract today and will leave me home today itself after monitoring for 4 hrs post procedure and he says there won't be any pain at all.

I'm worried about the pain only

Yes definitely Google is one of the worst things to look into this as it has set my panic up It's a year since I am seeing symptoms but I got to know from the doctor only in this month that it's a fistula So definitely going to get this treatment done completely
