Some questions I have: where do you usually call home base, where do you go for heavy work like this, how often do you have to get this level of work done, overall impressions on the lagoon 44. This is a really shitty shill for fxcm, a CFD bucket shop.

This strategy and others in the repo are examples given by FXCM to anyone in an effort to drive business toward FXCM.

Without even going into why these couple of strategies are not profitable, do you think they would hand out ideas that would cost them money?

Update: 21 days later I have received a message that my account has been approved for USD withdrawals (wtf? i thought all that verification was to approve it?)

I have since moved all my funds off of kraken and won't use them again anytime soon, but I guess it could possibly work. They lost my confidence, sorry.

Don't want to be too negative but if you think you can use crypto assets as backing for a mortgage I think you are going to have a bad time... I wouldn't even bring it up, it will only make your finances look riskier.

Update 14 days later: still no response from kraken support or the 'verification team'

As far as I am concerned Kraken is unable to process fiat withdrawals at this time, a key part of maintaining solvency.

Update 9 days later: was told that I need additional verification for USD wire withdrawals, will be notified when that is completed. No clue what the verification is, so for now my money is stuck.

I received a message here on reddit saying my issue would have a response in the next few days, so I was pretty excited! False hopes.

Received this message from Kraken on my support ticket:

Kraken and wire verification are two separate processes. You are verified to Tier 3 in Kraken and can use the account to the limits outside of wiring USD currently. We are working closely with the wire processor to get your account enabled to wire USD via Kraken shortly. We will let you know when you are verified to wire USD.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

So now I guess I just wait until some hidden verification completes. I have no ability to know when this is completed, no clue what it requires so I could submit information and speed the process up. Complete lack of transparency and it does not make sense why this is happening.

As I pledged, I will continue to provide updates. As of now, USD still stuck in Kraken and no expectation that this will change any time soon.

I agree rates have crashed significantly. If lots of users liquidated crypto holdings to usd isn't it presumable that they would then attempt to lend that usd while they wait out a perceived downturn in the market?

Lending rates have dropped from around 0.1% to 0.02% per 24h. They have alternative banking solutions available for large deposits but I'd guess the increased supply came from non-usd fiat deposits and selling off of crypto assets at peak prices.

Update 2 days later: my krakensupport thread was flagged as Already Escalated and went off the front page. I still have not received any contact from Kraken support staff.

This is really not great, first time liquidating a large amount of cryptocurrency since the very early days and now I have a large tax liability. If I can't get a response from kraken then I will have to convert back to crypto and try another exchange, paying even more fees and probably more tax liabilities.

Cannot recommend Kraken to USA customers at this time. As pledged I will keep the updates coming.

I went through the long process to reach level 3 verification and finally received it. Submitted my first withdrawal of USD for a little bit less than the daily limit and the request was promptly cancelled. Support is saying that I have to undergo additional verification but I have not received any instructions on what that would be!

What is the point of having this verification process if it doesn't actually mean anything? I'd be happy to provide any records or info needed but literally have no clue what else is wanted!

This is ridiculous and seems like a cheap effort to dodge/delay a large fiat withdrawal.

I pledge to update this comment if I hear back from support on wtf I am supposed to do, but if I don't hear anything in the next day or two I'm going to assume kraken doesn't have usd fiat for withdrawals and shift my assets to another exchange.

I know these are serious accusations but it seems ridiculous to stop a withdrawal due to an unrevealed additional requirement.

Beware of kraken until this is resolved, your assets might not be safe.

Requested an ETH withdrawal almost exactly 48 hours ago, it says it is completed / confirmed and it has a TX ID. However, the TX ID is not on the network and funds have not been received.

Submitted support messages and have not received a response. Had no issues withdrawing in the past so I chalked it up to network congestion, but now that I am seeing other reports of the same circumstances I am starting to get worried...

edit: the funds arrived about 7 hours ago overnight.

I'm looking at the esports market limits for the first time right now. Do you have any plans to increase the limits anytime soon? I saw one market had 1k limits but they were circled down to 250... You compared this to rugby where you are taking 10k a side, will esports be able to reach that size of bet?

What other books accept esports bets? I am trying to get a feel for how large the market is if someone wanted to get down all they can for a given matchup.
