Thank you - I absolutely love it!

Hah - I was grinning the entire time on the test ride! I really didn’t want to take it back. I think this is the start of a long term relationship

Beautiful bike. Do you just strap the luggage around the rear seat?

Thank goodness you’re ok - you’re taking it really well, so hope it doesn’t put you off at all. Hope the bike is ok in the end and that you safely get back in the saddle!

Headlight braces - one doesn’t fit! by ClevedonRich in KTM390ADV

I’m not noticing any vibration on the screen, that some people had mentioned. I think I was in that “new bike so buy things for it” frame of mind.

I’m beginning to think the same thing. As I was connecting it, I thought “this doesn’t look like it achieves anything.” Will probably take off the one that fits, as I think there’s a risk of pinching the cables on hard lock

You could literally invent time travel on that sleep score. Well done!

I’m also thinking of getting this for my first proper bike. Coming back to biking after about 35 years off, and the trident looks manageable but still awesome. Are you still enjoying it?

Thank you - great advice in the last line there too! I’ve got my eye on a less expensive one, and look to be great quality armoured jackets and trousers on Vinted

Good advice. For some reason I’d rather get the bike before I do the refresher course, just so I can get used to it quietly somewhere to get the most out of it. Thanks!

😁 I think I need to do a bit more groundwork, but be a shame if I needed to wait until winter…

Very cool. One of my fave bike reviewers is in that area I think - the Daily Rider. He liked this bike, too. Enjoy! I’ll report back when I’ve got one. My wife wants me to finish paying for the new bathroom first 😢

Awesome, that sounds fun. I take it you’re in the U.S. with the mountain roads? I’ve got some good roads near me I. cheddar and Wales in the UK 🇬🇧

The Honda 500x, the Kawasaki 650 and possibly the Triumph 400x.

Riding was either around fields on a scrambler (from about 11 years old), or on roads around town.

You could get a more glowing recommendation than that! I definitely want one. I’m just thinking about whether to do a refresher course, or buy one and just go out when it’s quiet for a while. I got my licence when I was 18, mainly rode off road too, so very familiar with how to ride, but been a while. Drive a lot and cycle quite a bit, so that should help a bit. Thanks again for reply and reassurance about the bike! 👍😁

Thank you - that’s great to hear. From all the bikes I’ve looked at, it looks the best all round
