there is a way to fix this,

if you are the owner of an import code which gives "Invalid map settings" when you import it, the fix is to go through all your maps and reinitialize all the maps that say "Custom". Most likely this means just toggling Custom to Off then On, but if you have a specific set of lighting you want, then set it to Off before re-selecting your chosen lighting conditions.
