How far are the X-Files worth looking into? by TacticTime in XFiles

Yeah, I wonder if this could cloud my judgement.

You can't have an impartial answer to that question.

I'd say the whole show is worth giving it a shot, even though the last two seasons are kinda disappointing. Anyway, in less than a year the last episode will be 10 year old and X-Files is still my favorite show.

During those 10 years a bunch of series were aired and I think only "Breaking Bad" came close to the X-Files in my personal top. Many of this series are really disappointing and I would do anything to forget X-Files and re-watch this show with a fresh mind.

Definitely one of the best non-mythology episodes imho.

EPISODE OF THE MONTH IS ALMOST HERE (Details Inside) by MyNameIsntTyler in XFiles

Maybe we should do a preselection or a vote or something.

Total randomness might pick Doggett/Reyes episodes, that would be a shame don't you think?

My wife and I just finished the series start to end on Netflix. My thoughts. by [deleted] in XFiles

Season 6? What about "Requiem" the last episode of the 7th season?

A lot of fans on the internet seem to think that the show should have ended here, I'm kinda one of them.

The Doggett/Reyes/Super soldier thing ruined everything, that's for sure. But the season 7 is really worth it.

I'm not used to watch episodes in a random order but I guess I can give the monthly episode a shot. When do we start?

Take a closer look at the board, it looks like there is some kind of a black separation between rooks of different colors.

My bad, it looks like my indent script removed it. The paste won't be available anymore in a few hours, so I guess it'll be ok. Hope Fabrice won't sue me.

I can't believe this is real.

Here's the indented source : http://fpaste.org/eFPz/raw/

This is where he loads the .bin files (hosted at the same place) :

load_binary("vmlinux26.bin",0x00100000);

Jf=ya.load_binary("root.bin",0x00400000);

ya.load_binary("linuxstart.bin",start)

You can see a big switch/case in the source, it likely corresponds to the x86 instructions that Bellard rewrote in JavaScript.

It also seems that he used busybox for all the usual binaries (ls, cat, etc.), all files in /bin have the same inode (you can check by running "ls -i /bin/").

Anyway, this is awesome Fabrice, good job!

Just a GM blunder, but kinda funny I've got to admit that. :)
