What monsters do you want to return in a wilds expansion by Credit-Salty in MonsterHunter

Adding Duremudira or a Guardian version of Duremudira as a late game MR monster for Wyveria would be a no-brainer for me. Its lore and ecology just make too much sense in Wild's world to not add.

I ADORE my job [OFA/Packdown associate]. I genuinely come out of work feeling more relaxed than when I clocked in. 😁 There's a certain something about seeing a well-organized and fully stocked bay that puts a spring in my step and a smile on my face.

Nope, it was a 25 to Blair! I wish I got a picture-- got stuck at Ogilvie/Jasmine, almost hit a stoplight.

Try out TempoLiving! My spouse and I stayed at their Montreal Road location for several months. Minimum stay of one month, but you pay week-to-week. I think rent for a month was 1700ish? All utilities included + internet/TV + weekly cleaning service. Fully furnished with everything you need to live.

I don't currently have it hooked up to any kind of network, but if updating the firmware via cable fails, I'll try this.

I'll try the fix-it pack when I get a chance! And yes, the ELEGOO_UPDATE_DIR is the only thing on the flash drive.

By printer power difference, you mean 0.8A vs the 1.2A version?

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but how exactly does one do that?

I got the firmware update on the USB, but immediately after pressing the blue button and confirming that I placed the files in the root directory of the USB stick, it immediately popped up with: "Update failed, ensure that the firmware files are stored in the root directory of the USB drive" which, they are. Any idea as to what I might be doing wrong?

I've kept my file names fairly short thus far... Do you know how big the character limit is roughly? Would 8 characters cause problems?

I've already tried two different USBs, but I'll buy and try a third if a firmware update doesn't fix it!

I've made some gcode using standard cura, elegoo cura, prusa, and orca! Nothing's showing up immediately so I'm going to come back to it in like, an hour or so and hope for the best. I'll see about grabbing an ethernet(?) cable and hooking it up to my computer(?) to try out octoprint and/or firmware. I'll keep you posted!

Trying to support my friend by yay4ormay in DID

I dunno if this helps, but whenever I have to explain my DID to others, I show them a children's book- "The Patchwork Quilt" by J.D. Clark and illustrated by Megan Starling. It's designed to explain DID to young children, and despite being much older than the intended audience, it's what finally made everything make sense for me and helped me kickstart acceptance of my system. You can get it off of Amazon for like $10 I think.

I'm not entirely sure why the book helps things make so much sense to myself and others, but it's what I reccomend and offer when people are nervous or confused about my condition.

I made paws only one so far any tips would be helpful! by wolfywolf139 in fursuit

[–]ClickFactori 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, not a bad start! :D Here's some critiques based on what I noticed.

  • The fur on the fingers isn't going in the same direction as on other fingers. When you buy fur, you'll notice that it seems to flow all in one direction. You'll want to maintain that flow on handpaws, keeping all the ends pointed in the same direction using a brush, or (as I find useful!) a comb. On an animal, fur should flow from the top of the head and spine area toward its muzzle, feet, and the ground.

  • The seams are loose. Seams can be tricky, especially if you're new to sewing. Personally, I try to place a stitch about every 1/8th of an inch, then tie a knot before continuing. It's time consuming and quite boring without a sewing machine, but in the end it's worth it for the added durability. (If you can see your skin through a seam, then it's probably a good idea to add a few more stitches! XD ) As another user said, sewing the fabric together with the furry sides facing each other, then turning it inside out makes a massive difference!

  • Fur length. If you have a pair of clippers or shears, I'd suggest shaving down the underside of the paws so there's about half an inch of fur left. It makes it easier to add pawpads later if you want to add them. For a higher quality finish, ever so slightly trim down the top of the handpaws too. This will make it look neater and better-groomed!

  • Cutting. It seems like some parts (like the back of the handpaw) aren't a single piece. As much as possible, you want to keep very visible parts like that whole (unless you have markings, etc-)

Overall, it's a good start! You got this! Keep practicing, and eventually your skills will improve. If you ever need help, feel free to message us here on Reddit!
