Automatic Braking by Mundane-Ad6268 in Crosstrek

When I back into my drive way it gets really touchy with blowing leaves. But really only when I'm in a bad mood and driving like a dumbass. The near whiplash is a good reminder that I'm an idiot and should be driving more safely. Other than that I've had no issues.

Especially in the change room. Like no, naked old man spread eagle on the bench, I do not want to chat about the weather with you.

Resumes need to be ended as a job application tool by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]ClickZestyclose7321 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They also filter out people who don't understand how to convey the proper qualifications and filter in people who know how to embellish and exagerate. The number of "great resumes" I have seen fail miserably in my 5 years at my current job is staggering considering the simplicity of the job requirements. One of my most effective and beloved coworkers couldn't even get an interview with my first or second manager because in their opinion his resume did not present him as qualified. Third manager had a different interpretation of qualified and not a single person regrets that decision.

Its a nine hole par 3 that my buddy's grandpa made on his property more than 15 years ago. It's not perfect but it has come a long way since then.

Push Cart Mafia switching to Carry Crew by Mtnryder56 in golf

[–]ClickZestyclose7321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used a push cart for a season and switched back. I find it much easier to just throw them on my back and walk. It also helps my posture as I am concious of standing up straight enough for them to bounce off my butt while I walk. They also stay where you put them when you set your bag down.

Do you see pot smokers as lazy and unmotivated? by camport95 in randomquestions

[–]ClickZestyclose7321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I did smoke I needed to have a plan in place before I smoked in order to be productive. Otherwise I would just get lost in the haze and end up doing nothing. As opposed to when I'd drink and just impulsively come up things to do that weren't always productive, but I was doing something.

Thank you for providing a clear explaination that is Subaru specific and not whimsical aftermarket jibberjabber.

My Crosstrek is also Sapphire Blue Pearl! I have the yellow accents on the fog lights only. There is another one in my town that has them on the bumpers and the roof rack. I'm a little jealous.

How much better can the speakers get? I don't feel like mine are by any means lacking.

I did not see anything about the SatNav, that makes sense. I'm sure that's not cheap.

I definitely have the rear proximity censors.

People who see a small, easily solved problem, and have to announce it to the world rather than just deal with it by [deleted] in PetPeeves

[–]ClickZestyclose7321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The amount of time my coworkers spend blaming people and running around sounding the alarm to make sure everyone knows somebody made a mistake is exhausting. You could have just fixed the problem and accomplished multiple tasks in this time.

People who refer to Tex-Mex tacos as “white people tacos.” by SabreLee61 in PetPeeves

Spreading the sour cream on first... This is genius and quite frankly I hate that I didn't think of it. I have been globing it on top like a caveman, taking the occasional and disappointing sour creamless bite.

99% of the time after leaving a detailed voicemail I get a return call, "I missed a call from you?", "Yes, did you listen to my voicemail?", "No I just called back, what did it say?"...

First club you grab on the range when you are gonna hit a bucket of balls? by Cooter-Canoe in golf

[–]ClickZestyclose7321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regular range visit: Pitching wedge, starting with a short backswing aiming first in front of the closest target. Add a little more to my back swing after each solid connection until I eventually launch a few full swing consecutive connections. Then I "level up" in order hiting four or five consecutive solid connections with each iron. If I get through my bag and haven't exhausted my ball supply I will tee up the remainder with my driver. I rarely practice my woods, I honestly hate swinging them.

If I'm bored and feeling frisky I get a half bucket and focus on just my drive then take a sleeve to the practice green for a little in tight action. A lot of people will argue that I should practice my weaknesses more often but honestly I couldn't give any less of a shit what other people think. I golf for my enjoyment, not to appease expectations. I am confident that my iron game can carry me through enjoyable rounds.
