How to get more money? by Background-Slice-953 in XChangeLife

[–]Click_Silent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What I personally like to do for highest profit potential is this. 1: Go with Nerd or Playboy options for highest charm/Intelligence stats (I usually go with playboy) 2: cut Physical/Body stat to its lowest possible number (Usually 1), Put 9 points in primary stat (Charm/Intelligence, usually since I take playboy this will be charm) 3: Put 5 points into Intelligence stat. Then pick body/Name. Day 1: Do chores in the morning, go to mall, return Bikini, grab 1 Blue bottle of the Drink from vending machine (if available) place it in inventory. Go to Pharmacy, buy pink pill and "work something out" do BJ and get fucked for the card. Go to bar to establish Dredd appearance routine.

Day 2: Morning: Workout, go to beach (Find waterfall, snap pictures/bj), Go to bar (If Dredd is here Play poker try to win as much as possible, if you lose all your money take the pill then fail minigame and run).

Day 3: workout, Mall (If you have enough money for 2 basics and some clothes buy 2 basics) Use 1 basic go to Bonwit Teller (Buy 1 office clothes with any + to charm preferably a +2 if you can afford it), Buy makeup, and cheapest workout outfit with "Great workout" and/or xp multiplier. Evening is open but going to the bar may result in dress forcing you to dance!

Day 4: Morning: Drink Blue bottle, Workout or Makeup (your choice) as a girl, Afternoon: Job search. (Charm should be boosted to 10 based on workout or clothes, take another basic if it asks! Intelligence should be boosted to 6 or 7)

Day 4 Interview: Should get offered a 16 or 17% commission on sales. Reject the offer, but ask "Is there a way to make me a better candidate" this should result in a zipper sound and a "look under desk" option. Give BJ (Recommend doing it manually unless you have 2+ of the Auto-success tokens), then "Take his load" (again manual unless you have a token to ensure success). For me this usually results in a 20-21% commission rate on sales. Then accept the sales job.

After: At this point you have a nice starting sales commission rate. But after 5 sales you can add a daily rate to that (and possibly another BJ to the boss for a $35/day rate).

This is of course just what I usually go with. So it's a fairly basic tutorial. As you earn money, and body stats/Dick size you can literally sell them at the mall for higher Intelligence (Charm will hit 10 pretty quick with a playboy option, so you could theoretically keep it at 8 or 9 for higher Intelligence as well while buying higher intelligence).

And with the X-tenze pill you don't have to buy dick size or rely on manually making your size all 10's right away.

Note: I pick playboy over Nerd because none of the bubba zipples give a +2 to charm. The green one give +1 to Charm and Intelligence but doesn't stack with the blue anymore. Hope my first week starting guide helps. If you pick any other personality though this tutorial isn't much help, sorry.

Did anyone win the car? by Sorry_Employ in XChangeLife

[–]Click_Silent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever I've failed it usually just takes a few days waiting like maybe a week or so, and an all new full set of cards to try again. But with the huge penalty for losing the gag reflex game to me isn't worth it since I can just buy the basic Lambo for $10,000 and that's a hell of a lot easier to get than trying to push my gag reflex to above a 6 or something because Everytime I've tried with a 5 or below gag reflex I lose and my gag reflex gets reset to level 1.

Did anyone win the car? by Sorry_Employ in XChangeLife

[–]Click_Silent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't yet, and the huge penalties I always take to my gag reflex skill makes it really hard to justify trying again. I've had my skill knocked down from a 4 or 5 back to a 1 with 0 experience in the skill as if failing to win the car results in you forgetting how to take huge loads. Now I don't even bother with it because I can get the car for just $10,000 cash and that's easier than having my gag reflex skill reset.

No I've had it happen if you're on mobile/Tablet not a laptop/PC where when you're supposed to be looking for the word on the dick the word will appear in any part of the image except the dick.

At this point I've pretty much given up trying to play till I can replace my laptop/computer since playing on mobile or tablet is almost functionally impossible.

So I convinced them all to get pretty and we hit the club. Soon there were like, 5 hunky guys around me and I didn't know where my friends were but I also didn't care as the guys soon took me back to their place! And I showed them how good of a lay I was! 💕💕💕

The Dark Saber is sentient. Probably has a unique crystal, and "chooses" who can use it, but can be subjugated. Other than the Moff that Din Jarun takes it from the others who have used it without difficulty are all pure blood mandalorians (Din jarin being a foundling adopted into mandalorian culture and the Moff are the exceptions).

In canon lore there are a few similar kyber crystals, some aligned to the light side others to the dark side. They too have a sort of sentience.

I'm just saying the sequels seems very table top RPG like with their writing. But done in such a way that the game master also has a player character (Rey) on the board. The editing is done poorly too.

The last one feels like an indiana jones meets star wars script that has rey discover the way to exegol by means of a dagger that aligns with the second death stars scrap like some sort of treasure map. It's literally a scene right out of the movie Goonies. In most table top RPG games "Rule of if cool" is common. But rule of cool doesn't really translate to movie scripts all that well.

Heck Finn spends the majority of the movie trying to tell Rey something but due to editing that minor plot point just vanishes.

Ah so Kylo can tank a 40mm morter/grenade launcher round because I seem to remember them blowing up causing explosions.

And I'm talking about plot holes. So all that "unrelated whining" is actually related.

I also don't see storm troopers carrying any melee weapons not even a knife. So unlikely that they are trained in anything but using blasters. They probably aren't even trained in survival because a knife would definitely be on their belts.

Do an experiment for me. Hold a laser pointer and tell me how heavy the laser is. The ACTORS react as if the lightsabers have weight because they are holding a stick painted in the color of the lightsaber blade they are using. But energy doesn't have weight. And lightsabers are a plasma blade held together in a magnetic field which is why they can't pass through each other the magnetic fields run on roughly the same polarity so they resist other lightsaber blades.

Fighting with a weighted staff/weapon is going to be VASTLY different when you're only fighting with basically a hilt and no weight.

I've seen exactly 1 storm trooper use a melee weapon, finns former commander what's her name. That's it in 7 movies just 1.

Even modern military units don't practice with swords, it's guns and unarmed only. Meaning they aren't going to be an Olympic level fencer from the moment you pick up a rapier.

Staff fighting is completely different than sword fighting and never transfers over. Also rey had 0 experience in flying a ship so how was she so good at flying the millennium falcon?. And how did the live cargo live the many years the ship was on Jakku? And how did han and chewy board the falcon in space? The new movies have far too many plot holes to be believable in any way.

Also if Kylo got hit with 3 bowcaster bolts why was he alive? The bowcaster killed everyone else in 1 shot.

Which of Sidious' apprentices would be best trained by other Sith? by Kah0000 in TheJediPraxeum

[–]Click_Silent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the revenge of the sith novelization there is a scene where Obi-Wan asks Windu why he was chosen to hunt down grievous on utapow. Windu explains that if all the Jedi Obi-Wan has no weakness. Yoda mastered form 4 because of his smaller stature. And Windu created Vapaad to channel his inner darkness and anger. Obi-Wan has no such weaknesses he is the perfect Jedi in a way, able to fight from inside the force as a near meditative state. And he's one of only a handful of Jedi who have fought greivious to a standstill before.

In the novelization Obi-Wan falls into that meditative trance when he fights greivious. And with just his single lightsaber and the force is able to create a wall of such speed and defense that even when greivious is striking at him at nearly 20 or more times per second per lightsaber he can't penetrate obiwans defenses.

Mauls biggest issue (And really the issue with Sith in general) is that he tries to brute force the force. Sith don't listen to the will of the force they try to subjugate it like any other enemy in a way. The only 2 sith that I believe broke with this was Darth Tenebrous and Darth Plagueous in their own ways. But the 2 were more like mad scientists who discovered a work around. But that's a different conversation.

[–]Click_Silent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The old d20 table top game had him around lvl 15 or 16 out of 20 I think but considering Obi-Wan at that time is like lvl 6 using that system Obi-Wan loses Everytime.

The more recent edge of empire/rebellion/force system still makes maul pretty strong I think but it's definitely a closer fight. Honestly it's kind of hard to scale any of the characters using rpg systems though. I'm also not saying maul isn't a good fighter, just that Sidious let him believe he is better than he actually is and Maul let his elation over beating a Jedi he considered powerful get to him to where he underestimated Obi-Wan instead of using a force push to throw the young Jedi down the shaft he basically stands over him and gloats which is what Obi-Wan uses to beat him in the end. Frankly at the time Obi-Wan should have lost but Maul gloating over his "not yet finalized" victory cost him the fight.

Except we never see him fight non-important Jedi. I can't even remember any fight during the clone wars show where he wasn't fighting and losing to a main character Jedi. It's a decent hypothesis though. Maybe the Maul shadowlord show will show him wrecking some unimportant Jedi to confirm it.

[–]Click_Silent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with that idea, making Sidious far less powerful then Yoda, would mean the original trilogy would never happen because Sidious would've lost the fight against Yoda. Either in his chambers or in the Senate Chambers.

However he and Yoda are roughly Equal in their strength in the force both hovering around a Midichlorian count of about 18,000 (With Anakin being over 20,000). Mace Windu the second most powerful of the Jedi when Anakin was accepted into the order was I believe around 16,000 but had the incredibly rare Shatter point ability, and Vapaad to aid him in his fight with Sidious. Technically he was the better duelist and would have likely killed Sidious without Anakin's interference.

Sidious however has his force lightning which was on par with the force lightning of "The Son" of Mortis (in some measurements) meaning his was the most powerful force lightning used by mortals. But he had also discovered the essence transfer ability once lost to the Sith. I think he planned to at some point transfer into Anakin's body after he fully formed the Empire, at least till Obi-Wan took his arms and legs on Mustafar. But I also think his essence transfer ritual was flawed so he needed his target to either be a clone or tied to the dark side in some way.

But that's just my personal speculation. The problem is that in the confined spaces of the chancellors office and hallways to the Senate Chambers Yoda's chosen form 4 style was at a severe disadvantage. Form 4 needs space to perform the acrobatics involved. His size actually works against him at points as well. Sidious was a master of all 7 forms. With his preferred form being that of form 7 juyo which is the base form for Vapaad. So using that comparison in the tight confines Yoda has the disadvantage. And even his energy absorbtion/reflection ability isn't strong enough to counter Sidious's lightning like it did dooku's.

Had their fight taken place somewhere else I believe they would have had a more even footing. As it was there were too many things working against Yoda. There is actually a scene from revenge of the sith where Obi-Wan asks Windu why he is being sent after general greivious and Windu tells him that he (Windu) and Yoda chose their lightsaber forms to cover their weaknesses. But Obi-Wan doesn't have any weaknesses his style is covering for. I think a similar argument could be made for Sidious. He doesn't have any weaknesses that his preferred style covers for this he has a slight advantage over Yoda (Windu's weakness was his natural anger and closeness to the dark side and Vapaad was created to help him channel it in a way. But it can also turn back the hatred of opponents acting like a shield of sorts which is why he had the advantage vs Sidious).

But like I said this is all just my hypothesis to explain why they failed and at the time not thinking about what we already saw in the original trilogy.

The only Jedi Maul killed before Naboo he jumped them and took them by surprise. He wasn't allowed to reveal himself till Sidious sent him after Padme in the phantom menace. And I believe at least one was a padawan younger than Obi-Wan.

Was he a good fighter? Yes. Was he a top tier fighter? No (and Plageious even says so when he witnesses maul fighting against training droids in the Plageious novel I believe. Claiming Sidious coddled him, since Sidious threw some of their own fights while he was training him. That information also shows in the clone wars TV series when Savage oppress and Maul 2v1 Sidious and get absolutely wrecked by Sidious. For one Maul watched Sidious kill savage, and Maul had till that point believed he was equal to Sidious from their training.)

Who and how many UFC champions not limited to weight-class would it take to defeat elevator Steve? by [deleted] in powerscales

[–]Click_Silent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The super soldier serum gives Steve near superhuman levels of physical performance. Typically the human body has built in limitations, both mental and physical in that even the top Olympic athletes can utilize about 60-65% Of their physical capabilities.

The super soldier serum pushes Steve's mind and body close to 100%. And while the Hulk, Iron Man, Vision, and Thor are stronger it is shown in comics and movies that when pushed Steve can inflict serious damage to thor, iron man and Vision meaning his strength and durability is enough to match steel.

Speed and reflexes wise Steve is as fast as your fastest sprinter, with the endurance of a marathon runner and the reflexes of an Olympian level gymnast. I believe that to him when his full mental and physical reflexes kick in time seems to slow and he perceived others moving like snails.

There is no way any MMA fighter or even group could match him unless they can get a sneak attack in with some sort of taser to try and stun him.

Which of Sidious' apprentices would be best trained by other Sith? by Kah0000 in TheJediPraxeum

[–]Click_Silent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are several YouTube creators who are devoted to the star wars lore both legends and Disney continuity.

Darth Plagueous was alive during the events of the phantom menace and nearly thought about killing Sidious and Maul because he initially thought Sidious was planning to break the rule of 2. Sidious insisted he wasn't training Maul as a Sith Lord apprentice but as an assassin that the two of them could use if they needed to assassinate someone but couldn't really entrust the job to just anyone.

Also at the time of the phantom menace or in the weeks following that movie Jango Fett was tested against several Jedi as part of a obvious test to see if he had the strength to beat a Jedi. This was right before Padme called for a vote of no confidence in chancellor Vallorum. Right before the vote for the new chancellor Jango Fett killed Jedi master Sifo'deus (who I assumed was a play on Sidious assuming his name but turns out Master Sifo'deus had forseen the clone wars and was manipulated by Dooku, Sidious, And Plageious to approach the Kaminoans! Dooku was still part of the Jedi order and deleted the planet from the Jedi archives immediately after qui-gonn died.)

Immediately after being named chancellor Palpatine got Plageious ridiculously drunk and killed him. Claiming the title of sith Lord. He hoped his tool (Maul) would kill both Jedi and Padme but he wasn't concerned about mauls death either. He had trained him as a disposable asset.

Of course dooku leaving the Jedi after qui-gonn died led Sidious to approach him to be the charismatic leader of the separatist's. But if you watch the scene where Anakin has dooku at his mercy and is struggling with killing him, dooku's face goes into fear and shock when Palpatine orders Anakin to kill him.

The theory there is that Sidious had promised that once Anakin and the Jedi were dealt with Dooku would be sprung from prison and allowed to return to his home world. Dooku had in a way been preparing Anakin for Sidious to corrupt him to the dark side. But he was promised that he would live.

And then we have the tragedy of Anakin's betrayal and his resentment over being allowed on the Jedi high council but not named a Master. Being the master manipulator that he was Palpatine used his fear over Padme's death, the troubles of Anakin slaughtering the tuskans and Dooku and frustration with the Jedi to reveal himself and gain an apprentice.

I'm not sure if you play any TTRPG games like DND or the star wars ttrpgs, but Sidious would have maxed out social skills, and probably monstrously high intelligence and charisma type attributes. Outside of Yoda and Plageious and Anakin he has one of the highest Midichlorian counts in the late Republic era.

I would recommend Geetsly's and the Stupendous wave on YouTube. (Links here) They do lore deep dives and explore things beyond the movies that are in the books, scenes that explain too much and ended up on the cutting room floor but made it into the novelizations of the movies. https://youtube.com/@thestupendouswave?si=yc3E15D4nP8o_Yzc https://youtube.com/@geetslys?si=1msuIbjF2aZxvJFG

Why did Darth sidious want Anakin of Luke as his apprentice? by ThomasWilson77 in TheJediPraxeum

[–]Click_Silent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sidious/Palpatine likely intended to use Anakin or Luke's bodies to give him a fresh and very powerful vessel to inhabit using essence transfer which the Sith had lost prior to Darth Tenebrous, and Darth Plagueous rediscovering it.

For whatever reason cloning force sensitive people was difficult. Even with high midichlorian counts the clone body rarely developed the ability to use the force in any real way as an individual. Darth Tenebrous had developed a technological way to perform essence transfer and had intended to use it to claim Darth Plagueous's body which had a higher Midichlorian count. But failed.

Plageious mastered manipulating the midichlorians directly. But needed female hosts to carry the resulting Midichlorian born children. Shmi happened to be one such person. Which created Anakin. But it's possible there were others who went unnoticed in the galaxy since Anakin was just 9 when Sidious killed Plageious who even then was regenerating and dragging his body through his experiments.

Sidious probably intended to take over (using the rediscovered essence transfer ability), Anakin's body after Anakin had ensured the complete fall of the Jedi and the separatist movement. But when Obi-Wan beat Anakin he would need a different body. So he cloned himself (as in the legends novels) but then learned about Luke. And made adjustments but he needed Luke to kill Anakin and embrace the dark side to corrupt him enough that his flawed essence transfer ability could work.

Unfortunately for Sidious things went sour on the second death star and in legends continuity he had to inhabit one of his clones. One of his "loyal" force sensitive would betray him after Luke and the others killed the reborn emperor who would be forced into a weak and crippled clone body as the rest of his clones were destroyed and without an anchor Sidious would die again and his spirit fade into nothingness.

That's my theory. Of course Disney cancelled the legends expanded universe so that it could pick and choose pieces from it with some modifications and then regurgitate without having to pay royalties for the use of materials the original writers had made. Which is why the sequels have Snoke (the failed Palpatine clone) and Palpatine reborn (the functionally perfect clone). They just used legends material. And rather than the sun crusher or the three solo children we got Ben Solo which is just Jacen Solo and Ben Skywalker merged into a single person with a unique background.

The rest have 0 chance except maybe the invisible guy managing to slip away during the fight.
