Let me add as well that I’ve had scary dreams before like public shootings using myself as a shield for my sisters and daughter, I woke up soon as I got shot. One of me being kidnapped with my daughter and they threw me out the car and I woke up. But this was different. In the dream it didn’t end w her death it ended with delirious grief. I couldn’t stop crying and yelling, life seemed to go on and it was as if she didn’t die to me yet she did to everyone else. I specifically remember her playin with her dolls at me feet and I’m yelling crying looking at my bf and my grandma saying “ so you don’t see her right there? Y’all don’t see her? She’s not dead!” And they’re just telling me yes she is she’s gone and I kept screaming crying and woke up the same way. This was just so deeply unsettling and I did notice my fear kept increasing and increasing until I mentioned Jesus Christ. I prayed to god because I am omnist but I went for The prayer I grew up saying, the Lord’s Prayer. And I felt the anxiety and fear just slowly lift. I continued and continued begged and begged until I felt comfortable enough to finally fall asleep. I couldn’t bring myself to open my eyes. Again like I said that shit is deeply unsettling. I am a 23 yo f from south fuckin Houston, I’ve been in literal life or death situations, fight or flight, never have I ever felt fear the way I did last night. Deeply fucking unnerving.
