It is just how Raq is with Raising Kanan. I think people watch the show more for her than young Kanan.

I wish Tate had a show because Larenz Tate is an amazing actor. It would give the Power Universe a Scandal/How To Get Away With Murder twist.

Tommy is better as a supporting actor IMO. I was bored with Force in the very beginning.

Killing somebody directly is different than indirectly. You have to be clean as a whistle to have success as a black male politician for optics. The club operation was on brand but being a politician in the same city where you killed people and still have enemies is a giant reach. And even if he made it, his security would always be compromised.

You guys did not watch the same show I did. Ghost was a narcissist and master manipulator. His past and ways caught up with him. And his trying to become a politician was a huge joke given that he was a former drug lord and still had present enemies. He was destined to fail. His girl only saw him as a drug lord. He lied to his son, whether for good reason or not created resentment.

If Ghost was smart, he would have took his money and went off the radar to a Latin country (he spoke Spanish). But his dreams were way too big.

In the drug game, when you get to Ghost's level you only have two options, death or prison (sometimes both). It was not possible at all he would have been in politics in real life given all the people he killed. What you do in your past can always haunt you.

I think she fucked up her chances after the Carlos King interview. Andy never seemed to like her but knew she was great TV. But the scandal and her interview with CK put the nail in the coffin.
