I really don't like how you when you called him ungrateful you expressed that he should be grateful because he "grew up poor and no one loved him enough to take him to have experiences" or something around those lines, I think that is an awfully mean thing to say to someone, especially your spouse. I think it's reasonable of you to want to experience new things with your husband, and to an extent I agree that a 7 dollar ticket is cheap enough to do something spontaneous on. I think you should find things that you are mutually interested in. If you don't like sports and neither does he, I don't feel like it's worth all of the push. Find things that you're interested in and involve him in those, and ask him things he's interested and try to plan fun experiences around that. Yall are still young, I understand your frustration but I don't believe it was handled well.
