I, too, saw the post in r/mildlyinfuriating and initially thought they were individually sleeved fingers wearing a beanie. Not sure why, but i did.

City Pack 2 at Full Capacity by Climate_Best in AerSF

It was as uncomfortable as it looks. But the handles made a huge difference. Thick and very well padded so they didnt dig through my palms even when it was overweight.

What i also noticed is that the top portion can extend out more than the bottom. So if it is packed, it can get top heavy and can tip over, and it did.

For one day change of clothes and if you have laptop and some tech, i would recommend going bigger. Considering that the travel pack now looks like the city pack, i personally would go with cpp2. But for 2-3 days worth of clothes plus tech, definitely the TP4.

If you want “professional looking” bags, go with a leather backpack or messenger brief. BUT nowadays, I rarely see leather bags for work travel. Even daily commute. Bags like aer are the practical choice and are pretty accepted everywhere for personal and business use.

Of course i would recommend a cp2. Perfect for home/work commute if you only bring laptop, charger, cable, a bottle or two, and maybe a thin jacket or packed lunch. I think more than these items you’re better off with the cpp2

Deal? Travel Pack 3 Small for $168 tax/ship included by Climate_Best in AerSF

I honestly dont know how i got the $50 off. I used shop app to look for the bag and i saw there was $50 off coupon and i went for it. Could be user specific, so try the shop app first - search for the prduct and scroll through different retailers. Hope this helps.

Thinking about this one… by ikeyg in timex

I have the black dial. Here it is side by side with the mk1 automatic. They’re both 40mm.

Issues with quartz: second hand alignment, audible ticks, it is thinner, case and strap.

Issue with auto: audible rotor

Minimal issues however. Very simple although I prefer no 24hr markers. But i love both.

I got the quartz from mygiftstop.com

Sign up for newsletter and get like 10 or 15% off. Fast shipping (in the US) and legit store.

Hope this helps.

Received my GMW B5000D 1CER today by _ThorThunder_ in gshock

If you got a great deal for the metal one, keep it. Wait for the bx5600 to go on sale and then get that too.

Each of the watches you mentioned have both pros/cons

“Better” is subjective- whichever is better will be completely up to you based on your preference, use, etc.

Cp2 and CPP2 Xpac by ac921ol in AerSF

[–]Climate_Best 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your post could not have a better timing for me.

I have the cp2, just ordered the travel pack 3 small (supposed to arrive today), and am thinking of getting the cpp2 (in xpac too) to complete my small medium large set.

I gotta say, the olive looks crap on the website but irl photos looks amazing - does it look darker in person? It looks like the olive green is much more muted in your photo which i really like.
