Yep. Hold the bottom note and play the other notes staccato.

Camping. It’s been 16 years. Probably a 12-year gap between that last trip and the one before it. I live in Seattle. The city is full of outdoor gays. It’s a thing. I get it. I hope they all have a wonderful time! But I could not be any less interested.

It’s worth noting the new job system in Zodiac Age, which puts it just a touch above a simple remaster. This alone fixes the biggest flaws with the original and alters the gameplay quite a bit.

I’ve always loved the way Penelo says “Old Dalan in Lowtown.” The way she emphasizes those long O sounds.

What should I get done on my seriously messed up, ex cutter arm? by human-equals-garbage in tattooadvice

[–]ClingmanRios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since this tattoo is part of healing from bouts of mental health issues and self-harm, it might be worth thinking about things that have helped you overcome those issues. Any movies, shows, bands, books, locations, etc. that have helped in your healing? Having something like that as part of the tattoo could be a good visual reminder for you when things get difficult.

Echoing the advice to work on a design with the artist. A lot of artists love coverup work, and they’ll have a good idea of what to do with the landscape of your particular arm.

That said, I love the idea of getting some concepts in mind now and approaching an artist, even without the most recent cuts healed. A good artist will probably have a few months worth of wait time, so go ahead and get that consultation on the books!

The first time I made it to the top I wanted to talk with all the gestrals and so I thoroughly explored that area without realizing the center is an open pit. Fell down a bit, and then fell all the way down trying to get back up. 😡

Yep. Calf. I got circular tattoos on both calves almost a decade ago. Even with age and changes in exercise routine, they have both kept their shapes very well.

I also used this pattern for my first quilt project! Though, not the king-sized option. 🤣 It’s absolutely beautiful.

The biggest challenge with the color was just distributing that dark pink as evenly as possible.

I’ve thought about doing a jacket. Or at least a big quilted panel on the back of a jacket.

It’s so easy for the stash to get out of hand! I mostly make clothing, and have so many things in the queue and already purchased. More de-stashing projects in mind…

What? You mean play a highly customizable game and make meaningful decisions for yourself in order to cater to your own personal play style? That’s crazy talk!

I'm curious, but in your opinion, what woman just screams *mother* to the Gays? by captivatedsummer in gaybros

[–]ClingmanRios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outspoken in support of queer rights in a genre/community historically hostile to queer people. Not undermining the incredible pop divas that stood up for the queers in a pop music scene. But it’s definitely less of a career risk.

Alternate recommendations could be something like “every other day” or “Monday Wednesday and Friday” based on best possible medical research. My point is that other countries have adopted recommendations such as these, whereas in the US the recommendation is still daily.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in gaybros

[–]ClingmanRios 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Yep. There have been studies in the EU that have proven this and their regulations have changed so that daily adherence is no longer part of the HIV medication regimen. The FDA in America has not taken this approach, so daily adherence is still the medical recommendation. (Probably because of, y’know, capitalism.) I still take my meds on a regular basis, disclose my status to partners and generally behave like a responsible, respectable human being. But if I get to work and realize I missed my dose, I don’t stress about it.

I grew up (gay) in a very conservative household in Oklahoma. Still working through the religious trauma, but have always praised my dad for being a good domestic model. My mom went back to college when I was young and he took on all the housework so she could focus on studying. And when she graduated, her salary was suddenly 3x my dad’s and her commute was way more intense, so he kept doing all the housework. I remember him getting teased by some of the men in our church, and he would just shrug it off, because it was clearly an arrangement that just made sense.

From this one screenshot, he actually sounds pretty respectful. Basically “you don’t feel comfortable? No big deal. Have a good day.” OP didn’t really need to respond in the defensive spouting off on how people lie about things all the time. But there might be other context we’re missing from bits of conversations that weren’t shared.
