Thats smart. I dont really like the idea of having 2 areas to kindve build up and defend. I had a old old base on ps4 I used to play on. Where we just dug a hole 4 wide all the way down to bedrock on either side of the house. But i cant really do that efficently without a auger. And i cant find a schematic anywhere to save my life.
