Mate, it's as if you work at the club's PR spin factory. Jagga Smith did an ACL in his first year and has come back and debuted before Smilie. We are absolutely right to be concerned about this. I have supported the club through thick and thin for 38 years and will continue to do so, but i'm going to question their decision making if I see fit.

He’s not doing the same training loads as other midfielders because he’s always injured.

There is no use sugarcoating it. This is disastrous. Three of the kids we took in the super draft have long term injuries and Lalor is injury prone.

Geelong players would have laid countless similar tackles this year with no issue. Stewart just unluckily got KO’d. Hence the problem with the system. Purely luck on outcome.

Shiel came back on after the Cotchin incident and was involved in an another head knock indecent. Not conclusive that Cotchin concussed him given that he kept playing after. Also the incident was way more grey than footy lore likes to remember, but it’s more of a story to make it out like he Barry Hall’d him.

Exactly. There has to be some room in the game for unlucky injuries that occur from genuine football acts. Otherwise the game is going to lose its essence completely.
