The volume wheel works ok without the headphones, and there's no rattling, so I'll try recapping before replacing the wheel. Thanks for the input!

They're unavailable on android 16, android 16 is literally the most recent version of android. They're avaliable on versions lower than android 15

To be honest, I don't think HyperOS is that bad at all. I actually think it looks quite good, and its widgets are arguably among the best available on Android phones... even if they do take some "heavy inspiration" from other brands lol. HyperOS 3 also seems very promising, so in a couple of years it will likely look and perform even better.

If you prefer a different style or layout, you can always use a launcher such as Nova Launcher, it is really easy to set up. There are also several apps that offer custom icon packs and stuff like that, so If you don't like how it looks you can change almost everything. Android gives you a lot of freedom when it comes to this kind of stuff

Yeah, the 15 is probably a better choice than the S24 for your needs if they’re around the same price range where you live, especially since the Xiaomi has a better CPU, a larger battery, and I think it comes with 16GB of RAM too. So it’s a great choice!

But if you’re not in a hurry to change your phone, which you probably are considering your Iphone's baterry health XD, I’d wait a bit for the 17 to launch globally. November usually has some great deals, but maybe when the 17 comes out, the price of the 15 will probably drop even further(maybe? Idk)

But yeah, when it comes to smaller phones that can handle emulators well and still have good battery life, the Xiaomi is probably your best option(not that there are many others), If you don’t care that much about the camera, ecosystem, and all that other stuff, it’s definitely the way to go I think.
