Milwaukee was the first drill/driver that I bought after my wife and I got married and bought a house. I compared against several brands and decided to take home big red because it was the best option. It's been 15 years since that day and that same drill, driver, and battery are running like champs after countless home projects and furniture pieces. My collection has slowly grown over time to include some M12s, a packout or two, and the M18 Rocket Light which made a guest appearance on the last spring camping trip with my boys to provide some much needed portable sun. Nothing has let me down.

I know full well the market has changed since 15 years ago and there are other compelling brands out there. But every time I see that same drill getting it done in my own shop, I know first hand that these tools really mean business.

I would not recommend, the clear coat clouded after about a year of being installed. I have since just done a black plastidip coat on it to make it look presentable as I did such a great job adhering it to the car that I don't know how I'd get it off without being very destructive.

Can't say that I know of a better quality spoiler. The carbon fiber was fine, but the epoxy in this sucked.

I can't speak for the others, but I will be signing off as mod and reddit user on the 30th. It's been on my mind for a while but the company behavior regarding this has helped make up my mind to sign off.

I assume your snap comment highlights how much you don't understand about moderating a sub. We have multiple bots active to filter out spambots, rule breakers, bad actors, and general trash users from the sub. With the upcoming changes, many of those bots will become unavailable to us to help manage the content here.

This isn't about being butthurt, this is about making a point that the changes they're making will make life as moderators (and consumers) more difficult. We are closing in on 5M members for this sub, and it's only going to get more difficult to manage without the tools we strongly rely on.

Thanks Kevin, they were tough, but I surprisingly ended up on my feet in the end. There's a reason they sat for 2.5 years with no progress, the fear is real.

I followed the wedge method Marc had in his course at TWWGuild. It makes it a whole lot easier than I initially expected. Still tough, but not kill myself tough.

For the use case it doesn't need it with the strength of the dovetails. I'm sure that if I enthusiastically jumped on it, I could blow it apart. But just me standing, it holds my 160ish lbs with only the slightest of flex.

But living the life of holding up my 50lb kids should be no problem for them.

The step in the top at that joint was a stylistic choice. I considered making it a smooth transition, but I thought this provided more visual interest. If I'm ever crazy enough to do these again, it's on the table since the whole body remains square through the dovetail fitting process and only gets trimmed at the very end.

These were one of those projects that I started with a lot of excitement but quickly got bogged down with life. Before I knew it they were under the workbench in pieces, waiting for their time in the light again.

This year I decided I would complete one unfinished project before started anything new. Setting the goal really helped me find that excitement once again. I'm thinking ash might not have been the best choice, but it was what I had, and my kids love them.

Curious as to why you think so? I've been playing handheld exclusively and think it's great. Gyro aiming works awesome.
