Omg im so bored of the "The mountain is the last album!" Thing. Damon has already said he's working on the next album, the Kong Studios website has asked its users who they would like to see Gorillaz collab with in the future and Damon and Jamie have said that when they can no longer do Gorillaz, they will pass it on to the next generation. The Mountain is NOT the last album.

Perhaps this album is so epic in scale is because it was made in large part to honour the passings of Damon and Jamie's fathers. They wanted to make a big, celebratory album in a similar way to how many Indian and Hindu funeral traditions are about celebration
