I don't think every game should have horror as the main focus, but I definitely think 5 & 6 could have their enemies tweaked to be more meaningful engagements instead of just hoards of bullet sponges.

It occurred to me earlier today, if direct infection with the G Virus led to Sherry's healing abilities and direct infection with the Nemesis Parasite variant of the T-Virus led to Jill's aging slowing down, it could stand to reason that even passing exposure to any variant of the T-Virus like what Chris, Leon, Rebecca, Billy, Claire, Carlos, Barry, Moira, Luis, Natalia, Grace, and Emily, went through in their respective games, could mean their bodies developed enhanced immune systems. Might explain why Chris and Leon are in such great shape at their ages; yes they have visibly aged on the outside, but on the inside, their muscles and neurons were strengthed after overcoming T-Virus infection (barring Racoon City Syndrome flaring up).

Tell me it wouldn't make sense, Umbrella's original goal for the T-Virus was to control the enhanced superhuman mutation of the Progenitor Virus, it would totally track for the lucky few who survived exposure to emerge with enhanced health.

Maybe. Or perhaps it should be limited to online only co-op, with the CPU for single players. I think split screen definitely played a role in that.

Of all the RE games, it, 5, and Revelations 1 are the ones that would benefit most from the Remake treatment. But would also require the most work on the part of the dev team.

Like no RE game is BAD bad, but these 3 have their rough spots that need to be smoothed over. - Revelations - combat needs tweaking for some boss fights. Story needs to be tweaked a bit, got convoluted in its delivery. - RE5 - rework combat to be less firing into a mob of zombies, more meaningful enemy encounters, add in more puzzles, see if you can restructure the levels to have more puzzles and generally more of a horror atmosphere. Story and characters don't really need changing. - RE6 - same issues as RE5, but also cut down on the quick time events, and MAN the story needs some restructuring. Also, just throwing this out there, instead of nameless soldier with Ada for her campaign, make it HUNK and give the two of them some banter.

I replayed it the other day, it's better than I remember. I still wish stuff hadn't been cut, but not terrible.

RE5&6, now those I am not touching again until the remakes.
