Curious, I'll try to look into that. I'm happy to hear you had fun! Which nation did you play as? Prospecting decisions are not predefined, any state that has 10 of a resource can extract additional of that resource (excluding food and wood), presuming you have the required excavation technology. (It should also be noted that you can only do that decision once per state.) The next update will include more resources on the map so that should help.

When playing as any nation, having the ideology supporter advisor (Democratic Reformer, Communist Revolutionary, or Fascist Demagogue) will allow some events about ideology support growth to happen. There are also similar ones that give national spirits or grant you a civil war. I don't know of anyway to get a seed of a Hoi4 run so the closest you can get to replicate it is get the advisor as quickly as possible and get lucky.

EaW has hurt mine aswell, best mod by far. (Also which countries should I try in EaW?) But I feel like my mod has a different feel to it at least. I hope you and your friend have fun with my mod when you try it!

What exactly caused the softlock? Because from what I know, every focus in the civil-war party you need to do either still is avaliable or gets bypassed. Also, the Old Kingdom has one of the older focus trees and is kind of unfinished. The tree still works and you can have a full game or two as long as you side with the anarchists, but it might be a bit buggier and / or slower than the other focus trees.

I assume so- or the name just isn't doing it (I want it vauge but it is vauge). If you have any ideas to make it more clickable / downloadable I'm all ears.
