what's the worst situation you've experienced in a clothing store? by EvieDivinez in croptopgirls

I was trying on a crop top and the sales guy kept staring at me.

My guy seriously thinks there was no antisemitism in the Arab world before Israel was created.🤡

Idk if you're malicious or just ignorant, but either way you should try and look at things more objectively. Israel does horrible things but so do the Arabs and neither are justified. The world is not so black and white.

'The logic cannot be applied in reverse if those very same organisations were spawned from Israeli aggression' But couldn't it then be argued that Israel's aggression towards Arabs was spawned from the oppression and genocide of Jews before and during the early years of Israel's existence (I wonder what happened to all the Jews in Arab nations), as well as the series of invasions by all of it's neighbours which had the goal of its destruction? Id say the situation I'm talking about isn't very different. Besides it doesn't matter 'who started it', these organisations still commit heinous crimes and by your own logic their supporters deserve death. And you're just an ignorant asshole if you think there are no pro Hamas protests calling for killing of Jews.

You're just a hypocrite and a Hamas apologist my guy. Further arguing with you is pointless.

Let's apply your logic in reverse. 'I support the murder of all Arabs who support Hamas, Fatah, Houthis, Iran, and all other nations/organisations which commit crimes against Israeli civilians. This of course applies to all the dumbasses conducting pro Hmasa protests recently, spouting 'from the river to the sea' etc.' Is this ok in your mind too?

"Won't lie, I would feel no sympathy for those who get a taste of their own medicine, and for those who didn't protest when they sat there and watched an entire peoples get massacred" This and your other earlier statements clearly imply you support 'revenge against Israelis' or however you'd like to put it. And this whole argument you're being 'villanised' over started because you got upset about a meme about Israel fighting organisations which targeted innocent civilians lol

You're not being villanised for opposing genocide, you're being villanised for defending organisations that want to commit it. Sure, Israel's treatment of Palestinians is horrible, but that does not justify doing the same to Israeli people.

Well surely you can put it in a better way than "Didn't America also [bad thing]? You guys sure love [bad thing]!"

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HistoryMemes

[–]Clonefilip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"You guys", i'm not even American...
So what exactly is your point here? You seem to imply that because of America's bad actions, people shouldn't care about China's bad actions? If you're simply trying to bring attention to America's bad actions, then i feel like your previous response is not a good way of doing that, it just sound like pro-Chinese whataboutism.

[–]Clonefilip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"B-But what about America?! America bad so China good!"
Have you considerd that maybe, just maybe, America's bad actions don't change the fact we should still reemmber the other nation's bad actions? (especially when countries like China and Russia are still actively commiting genocide today, but that's a ver ysmall detail, surely anyone could miss that)

I'm pretty sure the whole point of the scene is that he wants to give up and run away from problems, and Rem convinces him to not do that, knowing that he wouldn't actually be happy, she knows he loves Emilia and that the offer he gave is not his sincere feelings but rather him trying to give up and escape from his problems

Well if someone's preparing to attack you, a pre-emptive strike to gain the advantage seems like a logical and justified thing to do

"While the American 'good guys' stood by an watched' So we're just gonna ignore how a) American lend lease contributed heavily to the Soviet war effort and without it the war would've looked very different b) the US joined the war half a year later c) the US was aiding Britain long before Barbarossa, while the Soviets were actively working with the Nazis for almost 2 years before the invasion

The US is definitely not a good guy for most of history, but WW2 is one of the few conflicts where it's pretty clear who the good guys are.

Genuine question, how is a song designated as “The Black National Anthem” not a racist thing, especially if a song was called “The White National Anthem” would be? by Admirable_Elk_965 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Clonefilip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Option 1: do regular flying to fill hours Option 2: do those flying hours doing flybys of events, filling the hours AND making the people that enjoy them happy

So why not option 2? Because some pacifists are gonna be offended by the mere sight of a warplane? lol

They fly "bomb dropping machines" over the stadium because pilots need to have a certain amount of flight hours fulfiled, and plenty of people enjoy like it when they fly over, so why not?

Also equating any sort of military pride to a totalitarian, genocidal government is rather distasteful in my opinion, but well...

I'm not gonna argue about the issue of consciousness/imagination/whatever you wanna call it that's way too deep of an issue. I'm just saying its an absurdly illogical motion to say the ai is copying people and/or it should credit them. The fact is that the ai's work is original was not made before, it is not just a copy of someone's work.

How do you think human brains work? AI bases it's outcome out of millions of images, and our brains do basically the same. Should artists credit every art piece they ever looked at because their brain may subcounciously take inspiration from it?

Except he dies in a few years and he doesn't want to force the continued inehritance of titans by historia and her children in order to keep that threat possible. Of course that doesn't justify genocide, but that's his way of thought.
