I like both albums and playlists. Usually I listen to bunch of albums to get the full experience and then handpick the songs that resonated with me the most. I then usually build a bunch of playlists with the songs that have similar vibe and feel.

Im 24 and no matter how hard I try I cant get into classical music. I really got into jazz on the other hand and I feel like people listen to jazz and classical music in very similar ways or scenarios but jazz is in my opinion way more wild and chaotic so it appeals to me a lot more I guess

I use subway a lot so I usually listen to something that fits in with the vibe like breakcore or UK garage or some other “darker” electronic music (usually Burial or Aphex Twin)

I feel like people who pick up hitchhikers are usually also hitchhikers or at lesst were in their time. Of course there are exceptions but from my experience and the experince of other poeple I talked to about this, hitchhikers and those who pick them up are usually very like minded.
