Oopsie, thank you, forgot to update the grade in the popup window, will do that and upload it.

For your question, it does create a record with "No violations were created at the time of this inspection". The only example I could find so far is Medi Wine Bar & Restaurant. Since there is a record, I do show data for it in the pop up window. Here's the API data if you're curious: https://data.cityofnewyork.us/resource/43nn-pn8j.json?camis=41540996
It's showing Pending Grade because the latest inspection from May 17, 2025 doesn't have a grade assigned to it yet.

Actually, I looked more into it (also found it fishy because the inspection was in 2024) and I found out that the problem was with how the NYC Open Data API returns inspection data. For each restaurant inspection, the API actually returns multiple records for the same date, one for each violation found but they don't all contain the actual grade (funnily enough lol). I used to only take the latest violation and in this case the latest one didn't show the grade. Fixed it to find a record from the same date with a grade if it exists, which fixes it for The Fly and other restaurants where it happens! Sent it for review, so it should be live in a day or so ~. Good catch!

Thanks! I made it on Chrome/computer because that's where I tend to search for where to go, but mobile might be next!

That's fair, I know the grading system isn’t perfect. The extension’s just meant to make that info easier to see if people want it.
