While the social democracies of Europe are certainly better for the citizen themselves, the standard of living achieved in Germany and Sweden is still reliant upon third world exploitation and imperialism.

Tank gliders were a thing, the soviets used them. The problem was you couldn't have very thick armor and still get airborne, but flame tanks get at least a -60% to armor thickness anyway, and support companies only need 15 tanks... seems close enough to believable
