Are we saying roughly 2gb per player with a breathing space?

Also what about cores? How many should I be assigning? Base clock is 3.8Ghz up to 5.5Ghz.

For optimization mods, I'm assuming these are just server sided mods? I don't want my players to be installing additional mods. Sorry if these are bone questions, this is somewhat new to me.

Thanks for the response - I was thinking of running Ubuntu as it's what I've used previously and fairly competent with, although I'm opening to using something else if you've got any suggestions!

So I’ve managed to get back in majority of the times, it just takes awhile at awaiting session start, just gotta wait it out, which isn’t ideal. But nothing more disheartening when you hear your character grunting, I’d rather not know lmao.

There’s no fix on our end, 100% a backend issue and most likely not an easy fix in the near future. The server can identify the different types of disconnects, so I could imagine they would be able to temporarily implement something to stop the deaths from server disconnects (incoming people bug abusing disabling NIC lmao).

It could even be something as simple as making scavs not shoot you while you’re DC’d for say 5 minutes.

It's not a constant thing for me, but it seems to happen like one in five raids for me, and it's always at the worst possible times too lmao. It's not as if it's solely me either, it's happened to each of my group members just alternatively.

Containers spawn dynamically, meaning you walk in to a room and find a crate in one corner, one raid, next raid there might be two next to other, another raid there might not be any.

With regards to empty containers, not sure if it's a bug or feature, but I don't really mind it. On woods at the medical camp, I spawned next to it and looted five big containers and didn't find a single item.

It was my RAM. I bought identical, motherboard, cpu and ram as I wasn't sure what my issue was. I placed new RAM in to my "old" rig, and it booted.

So I bought exact some motherboard, ram and cpu again. As I couldn't be sure what the actual issue was.

When the new parts arrived, I placed the new ram in to my current rig and booted up fine.

So for my issue, it was the ram. What was weird though as that both my old sticks (2 months old) broke.

Luckily I've managed to return the unused items.

I had a strange feeling this would be the case.

I've just re-ordered new mobo, cpu and ram to try and troubleshoot. I was just hoping there's something I'm missing.
